Instead of duct tape to seal the blower filter, I'm not sure the proper name but up here we call it camper tape. It's a roll of foam you can get that comes in 1in-4in wide and there's some 1/8-1in thick foam that's fairly solid for being foam but has 3m sticky backing to it once you peel off the wax paper protector. I've used it to seal a k&n filter before on an aluminum turbo intake.
Used Overkill supercharger straps would be cool

I used to make anti seize. Ingredients: amber lithium grease, aluminum paste, zinc and aluminum powder. That's it.

That hat has a couple dimples cast in the top directly above the front bolts,
They make plugs so you can drill/tap the hat, then reach through with a 3/8” extension, put the socket on & remove/install the bolts.
In your case I’d just drill the threads out of the riser, then you just have to hold the bolts & remove the nuts from the bottom.
Overkill’s time in word finals was a great one 2014,2015,2016, and 2017

No other monster truck driver does behind the scenes stuff before shows, and does videos of working on there machines.(that I know of at least) Keep up the good videos brother because ik imma be watching them. Only recommendation I would say is to find impact 3/8’s socket and extension the chrome ones will wear your impact anvil out so then your sockets and extensions just fall off when your in upside down spots

Hey I’ve always kinda wondered what is y’all’s opinion like pro monster truck drivers in general About whistling diesel monster maxx? I mean it seems like it’s extra beefed up but it doesn’t seem like it’s got the torque ON DEMAND like the pro monster trucks. Like u def need that to pull off all the bad ass tricks n flips n stuff. Maybe he just wants the biggest monster truck idk. But it does seem like a big feat of engineering….

Have you ever had a blower explode where you needed the restraints?( I know they're required.)
Put loctite primer on the bolts before you add the loctite to it. It activates the bonding process.

Did you use right stuff on that blower gasket? Had to get after it to break it loose Lol, I glued a diff cover on a Chevy truck 12 bolt, and almost ruined it trying to pry it back off, that right stuff is no joke. Sticks to anything, even glued over a hole in an oil pan, and it held to get off the trail.

Y’all remember how mike broke his rear differential like 2 or 3 weeks ago? Well I just got back from a monster truck insanity tour in West Jordan and this extremely hard to control front-engine truck called Rat attack also broke it’s rear differential during freestyle. oof.

On a side note, would it be possible to drill a couple access holes on top of the injector hat to get to the two front bolts? Looks like a total PITA!
It's crazy fuel even makes it into the cylinders with the injector hat being on top of the blower. That's how carbureted blower applications are, so I guess it makes sense. 😛

So, what does your truck get, about 4/ GPM? Considering the Performance Engine, blower, and all the fuel lines feeding into the intake, it has to suck down some serious fuel. I, like many others, enjoy your video uploads. Peace

I'll never understand why the divots in the hats dont come drilled and tapped for an ORB plug to get to those bolts. Those are a bitch. On yours with the spacer you're using could you helicoil or timesert the front two holes and come in with a bolt from underneath?
