I take my car (an Acura) to my dealership. I'm talking to the service guy while I'm in for a service about how ridiculous auto parts are from the dealership. He agreed and told me that a roughly 24 month old vehicle they sold brand new.... owner came back and showed them that the headlights were already starting to fog over. Owner wanted and got new headlights.. Cost of each new fancy headlight was $2300.00 "per" light !!!!!!! That's the cost of a brand new Mac Book Pro. Unbelievable!!!! You pay $50,000.00 for a brand-new car and within the first two years headlight fog over. Completely unacceptable. What a world class rip off. What are these headlights made out of anyway? I remember the "real" tempered glass headlights.. "Never" fogged over.... AND were literally well under $100.00 to replace. I know the tech in headlight is more sophisticated. But geeeezzzz... Man... We are getting raped.... It's total BS.
