A while back I was looking for more Tunisian crochet patterns. It seems like possibilities are unlimited but I am not smart enough to create new designs. What I found in Google searches were some fairly basic things. THANK YOU so much for these other possibilities!

Thank you for the demonstration. If you had gone all the way to the end of your chain it would have been very tedious and boring. I appreciate that you trust we can figure out how to finish an entire row. I was very anxious once you started to know how to build in the first row. I appreciate that you got right to it. I'm betting you have some great patterns for making a blanketed using this style on your regular website. Thank you again. You made it look simple and easy. I always learn better by watching and seeing - when I have no idea what the instructions mean.
And I did notice the numbers at the top to show how many loops, etc.
I am having trouble figuring out just how many loops she puts on in each group in the first row - sorry can’t see all the comments
@@koritaylor1574 You don't need to see the comments to know that. It does show up in the video. Pause at, 15 seconds, 23 seconds, 53 seconds, 103 seconds, and so on. At the top of the video look for the numbers. I know she starts off with ****ch instead of a number, but that's because the chain length is unimportant to this exercise. And that is all it is an exercise. If you get instructions to make a, for example, Tunisian baby blanket, the instructions will be there, as well.

Love this pattern!! Just got stuck on how to continue it through the end. It only explains how to continue going up, but once your crotchet stick is full with the pattern that its showing how do you continue across for the width you want the blanket to be? Am I missing something?

Im a beginner and your video info said very easy, so i thought it would be worth the try, but it was hard to know what you were doing with out explanation. It wouldve been more helpful if there was talk over or even more writing to explain what you are doing after the first row of loops. Also maybe tips to holding the hook and tension while you are trying to create this... not everyone is just visual so it would help a wider group of people

Thanks for the lesson! The stitch is easy enough, but I don’t understand how you could make a blanket with this stitch, unless you can only make it as wide as your (Tunisian) hook is long…?
You would use the longer Tunisian hooks that have the cables on the end like knitting needles that have cables on the end for larger items
you can crochet it in the length and width that fit in the hook n make multiple of them into a triangle or any shape u like, then connect all of them
