I feel like k. flay's songs could have so many different meanings depending on your life experiences but no matter what your interpretation is, the lyrics still hit you hard
K.Flay is so underrated, shes been in a music career for so long and has been trying hard at it and i think pretty soon she will become a huge hit just like many other artists that used to hang about in the shadows unheard but are now heard by hundreds of thousands, keep doing what you love k.flay
Adam Apigo It's not that K Flay is underrated. It's that the music industry in America. Is still making a moderate amount of money off of "conventional" Hip Hop! Every genre of music has went alternative! At some point! And has created a huge fan base by doing so... But generation gaps and people are just stuck in "conventional" genre! Its hard for people to adjust to the change! And until the well runs dry in conventional Hip Hop! And the money is no longer there! Then America music industry will move to Alternative hip-hop! K Flay genre is alternative hip-hop! And our kids are going to love it! Bottom line is alternative hip-hop. Hasn't made its way into the mainstream yet.. So for those reasons alternative hip hop artists... Get very little radio air time attention... And no attention from other media sources as well...

It has been going unnoticed for years now. She just recently in the last year got the big jump into popularity. Her songs have been staying steady in the top 18 countdowns on Sirius XM's Alt-Nation since september.
It's like Imagine Dragons, very underrated, then a cool song pops up, everyone likes it, forget the rest of the band. Came here from a duo of her with dan from ID and the kflay remix of thunder. Basically the only remix that I like from an ID song.
Le Rui Imagine dragons is overrated and their music gets way too much air time on the radio. They have a few good songs but the reason their other music is overlooked is because it's simplistic and panders to the mainstream crowd. Kind of like MGMT except they would at least admit that.

I typically listen to metal and rock but K. Flay just hits right sometimes
This song is basically the aftermath of making your life better. Mentally, Emotionally feeling overwhelmed. Wanting to go back to old habits that can harm your life worse than to when it already was fucked up. Gratitude is something people have to learn someday, anywhere, everywhere. It’s a dream we all have. We are the dreamers.

Heard this song on my mainstream radio station a few days ago. She's becoming bigger and bigger.
I just had the most euphoric dream . I was floating. It was as if I had died. It was as if I had spent a lifetime there. I was just floating no physical body and seemed to move in no particularly direction. There was a neon blue light with black stripes leading down, an enterance like a tunnel shaped like a noodle and when I went down it. The most undescribable sound and visual happened. Just going down this tunnel gave me some sort of feeling so strange and hypnotizing and so vivid it woke me up.
