This is what happens when you have a good umpire who calls a legit strike zone and pitchers don't get the calls for pitches 2" wide and low. Forces the pitchers to throw strikes and doesn't force the hitters to protect nonsense strike zones. We get hits, runs, and action. Great job, blue.
11:05. And worst slide ever. That girl realizes that she has to physically touch the plate ... not just slide past the plane of the plate, right? This isn't slow-pitch city-league rec ball. She would have needed a garden rake to reach the plate from where where she slid to.
It seems like everybody was talking about Oklahoma, Alabama, UCLA and James Madison… Yeah they totally overlooked FSU… This coming from a Michigan State fan
@@cameronlawson8717 lol no have you seen them play football and basketball got exposed by Michigan, not a hater I want them to be good again but they aren't that good in other sports rn
@@juicebox119 ha what? Last time FSU played Michigan in football they beat that ass in the orange bowl... four sweet sixteen appearances in a row...ya FSU is garbage
@@ssk06d29 beat by 20 by Michigan in the sweet sixteen getting exposed and haven't won there conference in football for a while. Considering what this school done in the past in other sports like football they suck and basketball they're alright but they still get exposed by losing double digits in the tournament
Obstruction in softball doesn’t make sense to me. 10:24. Are catchers in softball not allowed to block the plate even if the runner is going to be out 100% of the time??
So the catcher has to catch the ball then she is able to block the plate but since the ou catcher had her knee and leg infront of the plate before she had possession of the ball it’s obstruction. On the other hand Fsu catcher caught the ball then moved in front of the plate so it’s not obstruction. Hope that helped
woahhh I just saw that play, horrible slide by the runner she beat the ball but went for the back of the plate as if she got beat, if she slid wit her feet touching home she would’ve been safe
@@cameronlawson8717 yeah you completely missed why strategically it makes no sense. Doesn’t matter baseball or softball or size of the field or what the other team is playing like. When you’re down 4 in your last at bat you don’t take chances for one run. Best case scenario she scores and you’re still down 3 so you need more anyway and worst case scenario you just saw she gets thrown out and you’re down 4 and need more anyway. The correct play is hold the runner up unless there’s gonna be no play at the plate because you need more than just that run or you lose anyway so there’s no upside in trying to force run across.
sheeeesh the energy in that stadium was electric

This is more fun to watch the MLB
Curious call to send the runner down 4 in the 7th. That run didn’t mean anything

More stupid than curious.

doesn’t FSU always get overlooked in every sport

That Cather is just giving no room to slide. She’s blocking before she even receives the ball.
Can someone explain this obstruction rule to me? It looked like FSU's catcher blocked the plate in the 7th but it wasn't called.
So the catcher has to catch the ball then she is able to block the plate but since the ou catcher had her knee and leg infront of the plate before she had possession of the ball it’s obstruction. @@hommocks9724 thank you. That makes since.
As a Bama alumni & fan, I gotta admit pulling for the Noles. 1 more ladies!
What was that last slide into home by Oklahoma. Didn’t even try for the plate
The goal is to tag the runner.
Not to squash the runner
FSU had me scared but they got the Dub... Congrats ladies🎉🎊 💍
ONE MORE TO GO FSU
👴🏿OU decided to play, finally.
FSU is a good team though.
I think that play on Jennings at home was obstruction because of that back foot of shellnut
why would you even take that chance sending the runner down 4
shitt it’s softball that diamond small asf probably thought they had it
& plus FSU was racking all game so figured they gotta push runs across asap

Hey Oklahoma, just a friendly reminder that your supposed to score more runs than the other team
Eh we will still win the next to win just wait... may had a bad game and gave up 7 runs that won’t happen again
John 3:16-21!!
So unfair that the tournament is held in OKC every year. Why don't they hold the Football championship in Tuscaloosa every year?????
Go noles

11:10 gotta be the worst slide I ever seen
Sooner Catcher cost them 2 runs
Hi I love youuu
FSU got too cocky after winning the first game, forgot it was a best of 3, BOOMER !!! OU National Champs.

Obstruction? Stupid call
They definitely have to change that rule
