I played woundcowboy last night in ranked and got thoroughly cooked by his Quan, well done one could say. Quan being this strong is good tho, there’s an only a few dedicated zoners and it’s nice to have strong character archetypes. He’s also DLC and nobody wants to pay for an ass character. Same thing could be said for peacemaker, if he does get nerfed I hope he isn’t gutted. Buffs over nerfs

I played a quan today & brought out the sub kameo for the first time… it completely changes there game plan and makes them uncomfortable. Highly suggest having a pocket sub for this match up. If reiko doesn’t work well with sub you can always use Shao
What do Quans portals actually do..? Serious question. I don't play MK1 I just watch it regularly on TH-cam. I watch Rewind, sonic, ninja,honeybee,tweedy,Waz and the Chillaian twins. But seriously what do his portals do? I couldn't figure it out just watching.
The purple portal gives Quan more projectiles, the green portal pushes people back, and the orange portal gives hits of armor if your opponent sits in it
@ralessfgc he hasn't in any serious tourneys and even when he did he never got far, online tournaments like some TH-camrs host aren't as serious as national tournaments,when you're playing for your livelihood you have to play to win so characters like li Mei isn't viable
Why are people bringing up Roethor? This is BROSEPH. He is a (WORLD FINALIST). He’s so good that he literally made FINAL KOMBAT. He is in the same bracket group as Sonicfox and TekkenMaster
Lowkey just stick with tremor he makes using Janet look easy but the only way ur getting that combo is wif punishing or catching them not blocking for a casual player tremors the way to go still

The only reason you would get smacked is if you just don’t know how to fight him. Play him for 2 weeks straight and you’ll see the difference

@@LilBroomstick17 we do not see him just because people do not know how to play him properly yet, people still use him like a zoner when hes not really that type of character… when people start looping Zone of Waste on everyone and setting Bonecage properly too… we all going to see the hell. Theres not so much knowledge about that character, and you can see how much the pros can suffer from him even when its used by way weaker players (MightyUnjust and Scorpionprocs vs Woolender in CB2024)

A huge reason why a majority of these pros, and even casual players, don’t use him is because of his lack of freedom. Zone of waste and his bone cage are basically the only things that can sometimes guarantee his turn. Having 900 health, your fastest startup being a high 8 frames, gaps in every string, and the only armor wake-up being completely unsafe are just a few reasons why he’s so restrictive. Even if you get his enhanced armor portal you can simply down 2 or or grab to get out of it. And you can’t wake up with his push away portal if he’s getting rushed down because of how slow he his, it automatically deactivates the portal and wastes a bar of meter. He has VERY high highs that come with VERY low lows, there’s just no reason why he can’t have a little more freedom within his kit like every other character does is all 🤷♂️

no he didnt, Li mei is fun to mess around in casuals but she isn't viable for something as competitive as Combo breaker, he would have gotten cooked
