One of the eligible bodies listed on your website (in the link provided to another individual above) lists CPA Canada as an eligible body. However, on the same website, it states that candidates from Canada and Quebec are ineligible. So which one is it? This is extremely confusing. Pls clarify wether CPAs from Canada or provinces within Canada are eligible

Great question, Anik! Only candidates from the province of "Quebec, Canada" are ineligible. Candidates from all other Canadian provinces are eligible.

I am a Fellow Chartered Accountant (FCA) from Nigeria and have over 15 years of work experience as Finance Manager and Finance Director. Do I qualify to take the CIA challenge exam?

I 'm a CA from India and willing to take CIA challenge exam. Most of my experience is in Banking as an underwriter. I dont not have auditing experience. Will i be treated as a fresher once i pass this exam?? What is the scope? Thanks

Hi Patrick. If you applied for the CIA Challenge Exam, everything (including a Challenge Exam study kit) is included in the one fee. If you applied for the regular 3-part CIA program, you can purchase your study materials at any time.

Hi, thanks for the response. Therefore, the application process includes paying for the all the fees? Because I was thinking if i should get wait for the program administrator to confirm my eligibility first based on the requirements that I submitted.

Can i give exam after November 23.. if yes what are the other exam window?

The deadline for applications was October 6, 2023. If you applied before the deadline, you can write in November. Otherwise, you'll have to wait until another application window is announced.
