That way they can perform their best with less pressure and distractions. JYP knows how to pull out the greatness in people.
Right!?! like even me I was shock when he said that, since most kpop survival show put so much pressure to there contestants, thus making them compete with everyone, in a very fierce manner, which for me will just make them look like soloist trying to be under a group. As a stay, I AM SO IMPRESSED BY LEXUS. She SLAYED the dance. When other people cover stray kids dance, it doesn’t have that FEEL. But when Lexus does it, I automatically became a fan! She chose the right song! Lexus is definitely an ACE!
Savanna actually took my breath away. she danced so strong, and i was not expecting this from her! you can tell how passionate she is about this. I hope she debuts!
he really does not deserve to be hated by stays and/or kpop stans in general because the reason why his artists like skz and twice can joke about him is because their close to him like if they weren't they would be scared of him or joking about him like he's obviously a good person by the way he encourages these girls and helps them improve

All the girls did so well, but Lexus absolutely KILLED that. Usually when people cover Stray Kids' songs, it doesn't have the same vibe, but oh my GOSH she did so well! I also love the fact that JYP told them that they weren't competing against each other. In all honesty, it's completely different from what YG did with Baby Monster, but I'm liking this better. There's no shortcut to success and glory, the journey is much more important than the destination cause it builds your character and sets you up for success
imo she's got the potential but she lacks the star power that some of the other contestants have. they have strong presence and facial expressions and lexus is still a bit too shy and reserved. I pretty much agree with what JYP said in the first episode about her needing to unleash herself. if she did she could be great and not just good. but maybe she'll get there throughout the course of the show.
Lexus already has a star quality in her from the moment she stepped her foot into the regionals and what she just showed now here in bootcamp made me realized she’s not just a star. Obviously she can sing too, and i can feel that she has a quality to become a rapper as well so THAT’S AN ALL-ROUNDER right there! I’m rooting for LEXUS debut!
I know people who know her personally. Her and her dance group have won many competitions all over the world even in Korea. This is just a walk in the park for her. Also a way for her to gain followers.
Since I have watched Lexus' choreo over and over I was blown away how she incorporated every single beat of the music and flow of lyrics into this routine doing all of it at the same time using the upper and lower parts of her body. I mean she hit every beat and flow of lyrics. There wasn't any pause. This is art.
Omg they're so talent fr, especially Lexus, she did a super great job. The other two too, I've got goosebump while watching them dance. I'm so excited and can't wait for the other contestants's performances!
I love that JYP rewards improvement and dedication. Camila’s dancing wasnt the absolute strongest but you can SEE the improvement compared to her first dance. She worked so hard! It feels good that that is rewarded.

I said this in my other comment but i just can’t stand hearing complements about this old bean head so I’ll say it again every jyp insider said that the training system is so harsh and they make them compete against eachother like they’re enemies and then debut them in the same group and forces them to get along with each other this is just for show stop buying this cheap strategies

I love that there isn’t a set number of members. It makes it easier for the girls to bond as well as easing some of the stress. Rather than trying to outdo the others, they can help each other feel more comfortable and even help each other perform better. It also takes away the fear of “all of them are better than me I have no shot” because they all do have a good chance. There is no competing and I love that.
This is the show that i want to watch.. NO DRAMA, no edit hate.. just pure talent and attitude.. ❤ we need less toxicity, support each-other and accept a win and defeat. 🎉🎉 good Job JYP
Lexus/Lexi has the drive and determination I love to see in trainees. She knows this is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, takes JYP’s advice seriously, and improves herself far more than anyone expects. I hope she makes it to Korea because I would love to see more of what she has to offer.

Same, I watched their performances three times in a row. Savanna was PERFECT, I don't think it can get any better than that. She is sooo strong and looks beautiful at the same time, I can't get my eyes off her dancing. It looks like the choreo was made for her, because everything was just perfect! And Lexus.. wow! The passion, power and the emotions were screaming out of the screen! Goosebumps from both of them. I hope they come far.

Lexus is literally an 'ace,' and she gives me Yeji and Momo vibes from her performance. So, I hope she makes her debut with the group, and she'll be collaborating with Yeji and Momo someday in the future. I'll also be rooting for the girls who are working hard for their dreams, especially Gina.

Honestly, this show has me seeing JYP in a whole new light. I love how genuine his feedback is, how all of the compliments are individualized per contestant and not repetitive like you see with some survival shows. I love being able to see this warmer side of him. Also really love how it’s not going to be a fixed number of winners, how he wants them to just focus as a team to bring eachother up. 🥺 GOOD on you JYP!
Dude as a 1st gen stan it's making me so glad to see more comments like this. I know that newer kpop fans aren't necessarily happy with the musical direction, or the schedules of JYP artists but JYP first and foremost has always been an artist and performer himself. If you've seen any of his other shows, or even his artist training lectures (they're out there) he GENUINELY cares about the artists improving and growing. It's a different world from the other companies where the people in charge don't have experience performing. He does and it shows.
He does give good criticism however he's way harsher on the "real" trainees back in Korea that stay training for years, and their training is ligjtyears away from this quick selection process they show here, they're trying to make JYP look good to an international audience with this show
Oh you should definentely go watch Nizi project. It's basiaclly this show but for a japanese group that JYP made. He has always been great with giving advice to improve.
Sheesh, Lexi popped off! I legit got chills and goosebumps from the first dance movement! I am excited to see more of Lexi. I like how she doesn't just want to copy but add her little spice and self into it. I think that's what many people are missing; they forget to incorporate themselves into their work. So far, so good!

Camila really worked harder and listened to what JYP said ! She got confidence in her dancing skills this time, I love her so much she's my favourite. Obviously Lexus and Savanna were extremely impressive like at the auditions.
Lexus knows how to be authentic. Aside from her amazing choice of performance and talent, i love her gentle personality and humbleness. I also love camila’s performance. She paid attention to her critiques. I remember loving her voice from the regionals too. Savanna definitely showed us she’s better than what we think. She’s a hard and versatile person as well! I hope everyone could just debut together tbh.

Lexus amazed me! Loved how she surprised us of her duality in dancing. This performance reminded me of NiziU's Mako during Nizi Project's Bootcamp where she surprised JYP.

Crazy how so many of them took the advice to heart and really worked so hard to improve. You can actually feel the passion and dedication when the person takes constructive criticism and uses it to fuel themselves up to the next level. Very respectful towards the one giving the criticism as well, while also amplifying yourself, and not sacrificing your own "twist." It makes me happy to see so many dedicated and talented people doing what makes them happy, and seeing them improve even.
They did so well! these girls have been given an INSANE opportunity here, because if they work extremely hard to get into the final group it's pretty much guaranteed they will be popular and it will automatically catapult them into success. They really shouldn't take it for granted and I hope they all much effort in as they can, few people get the chance to go into a competition with so few competitors.

For the longest time a Hmong girl showing that we Hmong people can do it! Especially us girls, we’ve been doubted and seen as nothing but hopeless and weak. I hope what she’s portraying shows the younger Hmong generation that your dream is not your fear. Your confident shouldn’t need to be hidden. If anyone can do it why can’t I! So proud of Lexus, I definitely saw the improvements, her swag and the confidence in this episode. She ate that dance and left no crumbs! So excited and cannot wait to see so much more from her.

This is why you really gotta respect JYP. Sure people will say that JYPE is kiddie, family friendly, isn't hip, but he knows that it's attitude before everything else. Making the girls feel at ease with each other with healthy competition instead of unhealthy ones that put the pressure on the kids. God, how many survival shows these days show evil editing with girls tearing each other down and having to feel like ants in front of executives who evaluate your worth. Then you expect those same individuals to get along in one group after they were at each other's throats just a month ago. Say what you want about JYP songs but JYP actually cares. Savanna is a well-balanced dancer. She nailed everything Camille is definitely the visual. She nailed all facial expressions and danced beautifully. Lexus showed she is versatile. She slayed and bodied her performance.

imo she's got the potential but she lacks the star power that some of the other contestants have. they have strong presence and facial expressions and lexus is still a bit too shy and reserved. I pretty much agree with what JYP said in the first episode about her needing to unleash herself. if she did she could be great and not just good. but maybe she'll get there throughout the course of the show.
Lexus already has a star quality in her from the moment she stepped her foot into the regionals and what she just showed now here in bootcamp made me realized she’s not just a star. Obviously she can sing too, and i can feel that she has a quality to become a rapper as well so THAT’S AN ALL-ROUNDER right there! I’m rooting for LEXUS debut!

Since I have watched Lexus' choreo over and over I was blown away how she incorporated every single beat of the music and flow of lyrics into this routine doing all of it at the same time using the upper and lower parts of her body. I mean she hit every beat and flow of lyrics. There wasn't any pause. This is art.

I love that there isn’t a set number of members. It makes it easier for the girls to bond as well as easing some of the stress. Rather than trying to outdo the others, they can help each other feel more comfortable and even help each other perform better. It also takes away the fear of “all of them are better than me I have no shot” because they all do have a good chance. There is no competing and I love that.

Honestly, this show has me seeing JYP in a whole new light. I love how genuine his feedback is, how all of the compliments are individualized per contestant and not repetitive like you see with some survival shows. I love being able to see this warmer side of him. Also really love how it’s not going to be a fixed number of winners, how he wants them to just focus as a team to bring eachother up. 🥺 GOOD on you JYP!
Dude as a 1st gen stan it's making me so glad to see more comments like this. I know that newer kpop fans aren't necessarily happy with the musical direction, or the schedules of JYP artists but JYP first and foremost has always been an artist and performer himself. If you've seen any of his other shows, or even his artist training lectures (they're out there) he GENUINELY cares about the artists improving and growing. It's a different world from the other companies where the people in charge don't have experience performing. He does and it shows.
Remember what he did to twice 16 era... His feedbacks are genuine too❤️
He does give good criticism however he's way harsher on the "real" trainees back in Korea that stay training for years, and their training is ligjtyears away from this quick selection process they show here, they're trying to make JYP look good to an international audience with this show

Crazy how so many of them took the advice to heart and really worked so hard to improve. You can actually feel the passion and dedication when the person takes constructive criticism and uses it to fuel themselves up to the next level. Very respectful towards the one giving the criticism as well, while also amplifying yourself, and not sacrificing your own "twist." It makes me happy to see so many dedicated and talented people doing what makes them happy, and seeing them improve even.
They did so well! these girls have been given an INSANE opportunity here, because if they work extremely hard to get into the final group it's pretty much guaranteed they will be popular and it will automatically catapult them into success. They really shouldn't take it for granted and I hope they all much effort in as they can, few people get the chance to go into a competition with so few competitors.

For the longest time a Hmong girl showing that we Hmong people can do it! Especially us girls, we’ve been doubted and seen as nothing but hopeless and weak. I hope what she’s portraying shows the younger Hmong generation that your dream is not your fear. Your confident shouldn’t need to be hidden. If anyone can do it why can’t I! So proud of Lexus, I definitely saw the improvements, her swag and the confidence in this episode. She ate that dance and left no crumbs! So excited and cannot wait to see so much more from her.

This is why you really gotta respect JYP. Sure people will say that JYPE is kiddie, family friendly, isn't hip, but he knows that it's attitude before everything else. Making the girls feel at ease with each other with healthy competition instead of unhealthy ones that put the pressure on the kids. God, how many survival shows these days show evil editing with girls tearing each other down and having to feel like ants in front of executives who evaluate your worth. Then you expect those same individuals to get along in one group after they were at each other's throats just a month ago. Say what you want about JYP songs but JYP actually cares. And he knows that good, sincere group chemistry is what their brand sells best. ANYWAY GO LEXUS!!! When she came out and said she was dancing to God's Menu I was on the edge of my seat like yaaaaas you go giiiirl! My bias from the start!
