Hi Maria. Love all your videos and I learn all the time. This coming solar eclipse is going to hit my Libra sun at exact 10 degrees in the tenth house and my birthday is two days after that date. Plus I have Neptune in Libra also in the 10th house. With a sagittarius moon and a rising sign, makes me wonder how this will turn out! Also surgery for a hip replacement on September 30th will be firecrackers . Live now in Arizona , born in Poland. Thanks bunches. This is a timely video as my next solar return is happening next week and I don't currently live in the city where I was born. What is interesting is that my rising sign in this chart is the same as my natal chart and Sun in 12th house like natal too. So very similar chart to my natal plus my birthday is sandwiched between 2 eclipses which feels significant.
You must live north of south of where you were born. Your relocated ascendant will change if you go east or west. However, You will have years where your solar return ascendant is the same as your birth ascendant regardless of where you move.
With Natal Saturn in Sag, I don't trust the isms; especially the consumerism tendency to pursue the latest fad. As you say, I give each a try and see what works best. Having tried both Placidus and Whole Sign Houses, I find that they both have their merits and would not necessarily choose one over the other. There are some types of charts that would logically seem to work better with one or the other. But if for example, in a Solar Return Chart, a planet or house is effectively brought to an angle with precision, it would definitely get my attention, though it might not prove accurate over time.
