In Cath's defense, during my first semester of college, I ate granola bars for meals if my roommates had eaten without me because I didn't want to go alone. It is a little insane that she couldn't find it, but the not wanting to eat alone thing was pretty debilitating. So it's not completely unrealistic.

I read Red Queen back when it was first release and it will probably take me another couple of years to get around to reading Kings Cage. Mare was honestly the reason why I didn't pick of the second book when it came out. She more than got on my nerves with her emo, "Oh, I'm powerful and alone, I'm a monster, I'm the super hero that's going to save Norta and Lakeland and the rest of the world, BOW DOWN TO ME AND MY PET LIGHTNING." Like, she's her own antagonist. And don't get me started on America Singer (or was it Stinger? I honestly wouldn't be surprised if it was with her attitude most of the time.). Like, I never even bothered reading the rest of the series after the first book. I mean, it's kind of like The Bachelor placed in the Hunger Games world and don't get me started on the rest-I need to stop. I'm sorry. But there are plenty of other characters I would fight and those two girls are in my top five.
