"British steel" - owned by China
Blame thatcher
The Uk has the highest quality steel in the world. This must change!
I can also assure you cottage beck bakery is not used by steelworkers on site, "the deli" and uber eats is whats used as they deliver to site unlike cottage beck bakery
Where does all the electric come from to power all the new electric furnaces if everyone in the UK is using the same electricity?
Wind power and solar energy cannot power the UK sustainably yet and we don’t have enough nuclear stations so this means importing power from other countries like France so we are their under control again.
And the MP for Scunthorpe is …….. Conservative. Congratulations to all who voted for her - you must be very proud. 😂😂
This isn’t down to just one conservative politician. If you watched the whole interview. This has come about because there were no British investors willing to support British Steel during COVID.
The UK closed its borders. Locked the majority of its citizens away and killed its economy. No wonder there was no interest from British investors.
Ironic that the only interested parties were.. wait for it… the Chinese! The same country where the virus originated.
Remember that the whole lockdown policy was supported across all our political parties. They are all guilty of failing business in this country.
I don't remember little Englanders moaning when thatcher closed Scotland's ravenscraig steel works
Between this plant and the wales one 6000 jobs.....
If only thatcher hadn't sold it off
Lol, its finally shutting down. Its not made money at all in over a decade and there isnt even 2.5k that work there in the first place 😂😂 was under 1k workers when i left in 2016
13 years.
British steel firm should relocate to EU or northern Ireland
Get Brexit Done!
It's what was voted for!
