"I'm probably gonna go Kamikaze like Eminem" Nice to see the legends are back to restore Hip Hop, started with Em all the others following and hitting hard!
It really did not start with Eminem, if you were actually following Hip Hop. In terms of older rappers dropping this year alone, Nas returned after a 6 year hiatus, Black Thought dropped two lyrically masterful EPs, along with albums from Jay-Z and Pusha-T. And on the independent side, Royce da 5'9 released 2 albums, along with projects from Phonte, Jean Grae, and MF Doom and others. That was all Before Eminem dropped in August, who then was followed by Wayne, T.I, Ice Cube and now BEPs. But If anything the trend of legends getting back into the game started last year with Jay-Z's 4:44, and Black Thought's 10 minute freestyle on Funk Flex. Not to mention the good hands Hip Hop has been in with the generation after them(Kendrick, Cole, Big Sean, Meek Mill, Childish Gambino, Chance the Rapper etc).
@@PrimeraEspadaStark I was saying it in terms of straight referral to the current state, since only some have tackled the 'mumblers' the lack of talent it requires and so on. Correct me if I'm wrong, anyways thanks for your reply.
@@bigbang0X Ah I see your point. All of the older rappers may not specifically mention the mumble rappers, but the intention of setting an example is there. Black Thought said in interviews that he released his EPs to remind people to elevate the art of lyricism, and J. Coles KOD was ALL about denouncing the drug using habits and content of the youth and warning them about being unoriginal and losing thier career or life. Though Cole isnt in the same generation as Em or BEP, he is an elder to the new wave of mumble rappers

this shit is garbage... these niggas need to stay in their lane of disgraced musicians lul
It's gonna take a lot more than BEP and Nas to do it. This won't get played on the radio. Cause all people wanna hear is garbage like Drake, 21 Savage, Post Malone, and Cardi B.
Nas been on a wave this year
Nah chill that Kanye shit was wack... Cops shot the kids was literally the only good song . That echo shit with Swizz is great ness
Plus the song on creed 2 with Rick Ross
His kanye album was fire. I think they scared of us with diddy was fire. Everything was fire. Yall just going with hype if you think not.
paw york More like Adam and Eve was the only good song, Cops shot the kid was just incredibly annoying/repetitive with that Slick Rick sample.
@@HDitzzDH brah bonjour was fire. You bugged. That 7 track album nasir was fire

GOOD GRIEF!!!!!!! THIS SONG GO HARD!!!!!
Love how Nas’ part were a disc cover of him from 1999 (Nas I am) 🔥
Stepping away from the limelight was the best thing black eyed peas could do.. Almost everything they have dropped in the last 3 years have been bangers
"I'm probably gonna go Kamikaze like Eminem"
Nice to see the legends are back to restore Hip Hop, started with Em all the others following and hitting hard!
@@PrimeraEspadaStark
I was saying it in terms of straight referral to the current state, since only some have tackled the 'mumblers' the lack of talent it requires and so on. Correct me if I'm wrong, anyways thanks for your reply.
Actually BEP has been releasing new singles all 2018. I think their first one was Street Livin' this year. Just as dope as this. Just a correction..
@@PrimeraEspadaStark don't forget masta ace n Marco polos album...peep it, should be album of the year
Thanks BEP for bringing hip hop back to life. I am a university teacher, and I love hip-hop. I mean 'real' hip-hop.
Indeed this is so real bro
Whad up old head!!😂😂
Real hip hop is still present in today's world from new generation rappers even some underground rappers just that you are not paying enough attention.
If you think BEP is real hip hop you need more schooling good sir.
@@TxxT33 no YOU do
Wow this is actually pretty damn good I’m surprised. Also nice Schooly D sample at the end.
'tis how y'all do hip-hop! 💥💥💥
