Alice and Rita make a great comedy duo. Rita whispering to Alice -- that was priceless. Rita's sense of humor and playfulness adds a little bit of brightness to these episodes, and Alice's silliness ,especially during the sermon ,was a real hoot.
Well my fellow Prisoner friends, twelve more episodes until the end. 🥺😢😥😭 I will probably start at episode 1. I haven't seen the beginning for about seven years. When they were singing it sounded like a dog barking inside with them. 🤣🤣😂😂
I'll wait maybe about a year or so to watch them all over again . PCBH is all I've been watching the past few months. Time for me to catch up on some Netflix movies or mini series that I've been missing and maybe check out the Wentworh series. I bet it doesn't live up to Prisoner tho
I think it would be great if someone with great editing skills would make a video of only the recaps from the beginning of each show. It would be an abbreviated trip from beginning to end. I would be the first to watch.
I wish they'd let us know what Lorelei's fate was (in the courts)...whether she got a light sentence due to duress, etc. Oh well, 12 episodes to go, so maybe they'll say something.

Throughout this entire show, the Prisoner writers have regularly shown us the inmates not only drinking coffee right before bed, but also sometimes after lights out if they can't sleep etc. Did any of the writers even have any experience with coffee? Their seeming ignorance of its effects mirrors their ignorance of the effects of weed, LSD etc.
assuming it wasn't decaf, It's possible that it was a fairly accurate description of what went on in prisons. Most of the prisoners will have had fairly traumatic lives, added to the traumas of being in prison. We know that people who have suffered traumas often develop addictions, no matter how small, as a coping mechanism. It's very probable that a lot of prisoners have caffeine as one of their low level addictions.
I think the Actor playing Mr Willis also played the part of a psychiatrist back when Bea Smith was going off the rails thanks to Nola McKenzie and The Freak.
I think it's sheaths. Don't know what it means and whatever it is is I don't believe it's Catholic. I went to a Catholic school when I was very young and if they dragged you off to church you sang hymns.

That is one cold prison. I bet the cells are cold as a well diggers bum. You notice the women wear warm pajamas and nightgowns year round. AWWW! That cardigan Merle has on the little beast is cute. I'm terrified of mice but I still think that's cute. But she needs a cat or dog to care for. You can't lose a cat or dog so easily. Bringing In The Sheaves! Marty: drink? Woman: "no it's bad for your health" whilst smoking a cigarette 😂
"it's business. Some people look after their stuff with a trademark, I look after mine with rat poison"
Great Spider line, that! 🕷️
I hope they kill her for that
I miss pay packets, nothing like that little envelope filled with cash.
We're both old enough to remember. 😂
When they found spiders stash, Kath said "it's all here, booze, alcohol" aren't they the same thing?
I was wondering how the heck they managed to sneak the bag inside!
tracy langsley lol! booze alcohol everything bwhahaha
Yes.
It reminded me of an episode of Friends where Ross and Rachel ordered "Alcohol and beers".
You seem to see that a lot. People who are not supposed to drink will say "it's only beer". Apparently they've decided that beer has no alcohol in it.
Marty must have internal bleeding, he got thumped in the gut yet his mouth's bleeding

It's a good thing she wore. It would've been much worse if she wore adult diapers or commando 🥶😭
I'd forgotten that Joan was written out for quite a few episodes just before the end
I can't wait to start the series over. Hopefully it's not taken down
I can't believe there's only 11 episodes left! Arrrrrrgh! Nooooooo!

So funny! Lurch's butt stuck to the chair. I enjoyed that scene.
It was nice to see Spider and Vicki get the final frame before the credits, i don't think either of them got it many times.
I love Spider's expressions, unfortunately Taya Straton committed suicide in 1996, aged just 35.
Dane Blackadder That was very sad dying at 35 , so young
Anybody know why she did it. Tried to search online but can’t find much about her life after prisoner
