      Hi Hamza and thanks for reaching out. Your request is a topic where we would need a bit more information to provide a video response. Instead we suggest a conversation with your local sales representative or Rockwell Automation representative who can speak with you on your specific details and questions.

    Sir, please is possible conect mgx 1400 to 2 cognex câmera and 1 hmi and 1 balluf inteligente i/o and 1 computer ?

    • @mcnaughtonmckay
      @mcnaughtonmckay  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hello Arthur, This integration is quite tedious and at times not feasible. Assuming this is via Ethernet and not Serial:
      Without having Cognex Part numbers, HMI part number, Balluf part number and what role the PC will play is nearly impossible to provide guidance.
      Assumptions:
      Over ethernet, one can setup or create explicit messages in the PLC logic that will allow the transmission of data between the PLC and Cameras.
      Within the HMI application, creating a shortcut that points to the right tag or data point will need to be designed.
      Lastly the Balluf IO will probably end up triggering the camera based on the presence of a part to then take a photo and then the data from the photo (pass/fail) will be sent over Ethernet to a data base or excel sheet which is on the PC.
      Please reach out to your local Rockwell Automation distributor for further assistance. Thank you.

    HI, could I used this PLC 1400 to connect a sensor to get air volume from a FAN, the capacity of the fan is 37,000 CFM, but I do not know if plc support this number (37,000)

    • @mcnaughtonmckay
      @mcnaughtonmckay  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      The MicroLogix 1400 can support integer values from -32,768 to 32,767.
      However, depending on the sensor used to read air volume, the CFM value may be represented differently and within the controller’s integer range. We would recommend contacting your local Rockwell Automation distributor to discuss your application and other possibilities.

    How can I do this on a MicroLogix 1100? I have used it on a router with a network ID: 192.168.1.XXX but now I want to use it on other area connected to another router with Network ID 10.237.81.XXX. It seems the PLC has stored the IP Address> 192.168.1.100 and I can not change it. I have try with BootP - DHCP Tool Software but since I can not connect the PLC to the new router this software doesn' recognize the PLC. Thanks for your help

      Hi Joseph, Since the IP address of the MicroLogix 1100 was previously configured, we will need to change the IP address through RSLogix 500.
      Your computer’s IP address will have to be set to match the previous area network.
      You can change the IP address in the Channel Configuration menu of RSLogix 500 and download the change.
      Please refer to the MicroLogix 1100 User Manual for more information, or reach out to your local Rockwell Automation Distributor.

      Hello,
      On the MicroLogix 1400 you'll want to make sure that DHCP is turned off after setting the IP address. This will prevent the IP address from resetting.

    Sir, what is the reason of Ip conflict?

    • @mcnaughtonmckay
      @mcnaughtonmckay  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hello Ravinder and thanks for reaching out. When there is an IP conflict, typically the IP address you are attempting to set the Micrologix to is already in use on the network you are connected to.
