Saw him yesterday at the Rock in Park Festival in Germany the first time live and it was so good. He has such a beautiful voice
My gosh! 1998 - the year when I fallen in love with HIM. I found a piracy copy of them album on my sister’s staff. Then I became the first fan of Ville and HIM next 15 years. I had a great music/video/merch collection and sold everything in 2018 to raise money to move to another country 😅. Fun fact: I have never been to HIM/Ville concert but I met with Ville’s dad. I don’t want to destroy my childhood memories.
The whole Viva Overdrive gig from 1998 is out of this world. extreme talent caught on camera. best band ever to exist on planet earth.
That show is so fuckin good man, I wish some of this popular vocal coach channels would react to stuff from that show like this song or for you. Ville one of the absolutely best rock/metal vocalists of the last couple decade and somehow gets no love from reaction channels
Him's been my all time favorite band since 2005. It's one of those band where every god damn song is amazing.

Gas didnt join HIM until 1999 or 2000 when Razorblade Romance released, Patka was the original drummer for HIM back in the 90s he was let go after that and then Gas joined and also Juska the keyboard player. :) Juska also left, and the main lineup had been Ville, Mige, Linde, Burton(Janne) and Gas

In 96 gas lipstick wasn’t part of the band he didn’t arrive till razorblade romance after that burton followed In deep shadows

- "HIM - Rock Im Park 2001 - One Last Time", especially moves me, their other live performances from rock I'm park 2001 is also good.
- "Join Me In Death (Acoustic Live Performance, Koln 1999)" has a special place in my heart and soul.

Full album reaction to Life Is but a Dream? The new a7x record is completely insane, but it needs to be heard in one go to really make sense, kind of like a between the buried and me concept album - the songs sound weird one by one but together the larger sections in individual make more sense as small parts of a long, continuous song (the whole album). Edit: truth be told it won't make sense in one listen either for some. If you can only do one song, I'd heavily recommend Cosmic, which is the favorite of many :)
