great video Andrew , i have been watching all your videos and i must say they are very informative plus you have great river skills keep the good work up
Just love your videos , you certainly know how to look after the fish you catch.
Thanks enjoyed watching that such an amazing fish and catching it on the float in the flow is magic. Wish I was able to fish the rivers regularly for them
A cracking review. It's been awhile since I fished the Trent in the shardlow region so my stick, chubber and Avons have all disappeared... guaranteed to be somewhere around. So I'm off down a tackle shop in the morning to stock up on 3 of each ( for now), anyway came across these on their website and your YT site after a search as I had no clue as to what they were! I'm glad I found here. An honest review I feel.. Thank you Sir....
Edit..Damn. I just tried to place an order for pick up tomorrow and they are out of stock... I might have to wait.
Yes, they are good floats. Still using them! Try different online shop; say www.matchmansupplies.co.uk/ should have them in stock!
Cheers
i found these float very heavy on the strike. lots a water disturbance but in boilie rivers you can get away with it. i will give them another go. fabulous video. just love watching you fish.
Thanks. For my taste, it strikes through ok for what it is. Say similar size DH Avons are very similar.
Nice floats, I have a 4g and 6g and used them on the Wye but tend to under shot them slightly to allow the bait to rise over the rocks when held back.
Well done Andrew. Nice catches.
Can you sugest a good place where I can catch barbel on the float.
Your segestion(s) will be appreciated.
We looking to see more videos like this.
Good luck
Good angling mate :)
Good video. known him years... he is a top angler and his trousers are large fronted
Great video! Really enjoyed this.
Assume the bait is tight on the bottom so are you fishing overdepth slightly to compensate for the flow?
Hello!! Congratulations fir your video. I'm Adriano from Italy. I'm fishing with Bolognese but I like a lot stick float fishing. Con you tell me what kind of fishing pole is necessary please? A brand about this!? Thank you!!
Great vid..whats the rod you are using
Good video! I want to try for some bigger barbel but need to gear up for them. Can I ask what rod you were using?, Thank you.
Superb vid...what diameter silicone tube do you use on the speci floats please
It will depend on the float size but ID 10 mm.+ from here andrewknots.com/r/SiliconeTube1
Hi Could this rig be made up at home and kept on a Pole winder or do you transport the rod and float already set up before you get to the bank?
Cm You make a review of Shimano ter reel ,thinking to buy one for feeder fishing I saw you have one
@@davewilkes6000 yes I mean tdr my , automatic typing changed it thnx
well done another great video, im on the river trent this week cant wait. i fished the river sow last week i have a video on my channel if you would like to take a look, keep up the good work..
Hi Andrew korum sell a specific set of rubber for those floats...and where are you fishing please...Good video by the way...
Korum rubbers are no good. I wouldn't recommend them to use with bigger floats and in faster water.
This channel is about learning but not so much about fishing spots disclosure.
Thanks
@@AndrewsKnots I agree there rubbish but the larger rubber for the top of the float was sufficient..
A million times more satisfying than catching Carp in a puddle. Good video again :)
It’s foolish denigrating other people’s preferred style of fishing. There’s many that that would ban the sport altogether.
