I was lucky to see the show in July of 2015 with most of the Original Broadway cast minus the original Babkak, Sultan and Jafar (I was a little disappointed in that cause I really REALLY wanted to see Jonathan freeman’s Jafar voice live but whatever haha) and I loved it and this current cast I haven’t seen them live but they all sound great

Good friends with the actor that plays Jafar ! , Dennis Stowe … He is fantastic in this role and the show is Excellent !! much Magic , special effects, awesome choreography, humor , great songs !! Go see it ! This show really has it all !

While it is true that I don't think there has been a Desi actor cast as Aladdin on Broadway, implying that they've only ever cast white actors as Aladdin isn't true.

I appreciate Disney giving two people of Indian origin a chance to represent not just India but South Asia as a whole through Aladdin, but I think Aladdin and Jasmine are roles which should go to Arab origin people, which they haven't till now (in my information, let me know if I am wrong). Aladdin is a story set in the Arab world, and I think it is high time Arabs get those roles. Indians on the other hand deserve a story of their own to be told, maybe The Jungle Book or something new, we cannot and should not be content just by getting roles of other ethnicities.
