การเล่นของทีมไทยปัจจุบันนี้เป็นการเล่นฟุตบอลจริงๆ และคิดว่าคนอื่นเห็นแล้วน่าจะนำไปพัฒนาวิธีการเล่น และช่วยให้เกมสนุกและน่าดูยิ่งขึ้น เราเองก็ผ่านจุดที่เรียกว่าบอลไทยไปมวยโลกมาแล้ว ไม่ใช่เล่นรุนแรงเพื่อให้ชนะอย่างเดียว
ผมว่าทีมในอาเซี่ยนเราก็เก่งนะ เขาเล่นด้วยหัวใจพอๆกับไทย แต่สิ่งที่เขาไม่เหมือนไทยคือ หัวใจของผู้เล่นไทยมันรวมเป็นหนึ่งเดียวจึงทำให้มันไปในทิศทางเดียวกัน ไม่ใช่แต่ละหัวใจมัวแต่แข่งกันเด่น ถ้า เวียด พม่า อินโด มาเล สิง ลาว กัมพู ปิน ติมอ นักบอลมีใจเดียวก็จะพัฒนาได้เร็ว อย่ามัวแต่รอเงินอัดฉีดอย่างเดียว สู้ๆนะเพื่อนอาเซี่ยนทั้งหลาย

The Vietnamese team gave Thailand too many open spaces inside the 16.5 meter, therefore giving Thailand too many chances to score. If Vietnamese defenders did not go too far up to allow Thai players to break through, and if Vietnamese defenders glued Thai attackers long enough, Thai players' attacking momentum will eventually slow down and so the mentality (after several unsuccessful attacks toward the Vietnamese side). When this happen, it also means that the Vietnamese team is able to stabilize and control the game. Another point is that the Vietnamese players' strength and durability were a little weak comparing to Thailand or maybe because they were too tired running back and forth because they kept losing ball and Thailand kept attacking. Thai team was able to figure out that the Vietnamese attackers were not dangerous enough, the denfenders were weak (kept making the same mistake), and therefore Thailand did take advantage of these factors very well. If Vietnamese team is able to overcome these obstacles in the next match, Vietnamese team should look much better.
