    You are my hero! You endured the adversities at the port with class and volunteerism that proved everything... but don't be fooled, because here in Florianopolis, and along the entire coast of Santa Catarina, you would have a heart attack with this alien ship... congratulations to you and to Also welcome for the full report. In fact, this vessel requires a more versatile and independent attitude when maintenance is necessary, and marinas are expensive. I'm a fan of this boat, I would have one if I could. Good winds!

    Hallo,
    You must have been happy that that shiplift did not collapse under your boat. The inventor of the lift and transportation system seems not to be the greatest genius. But as you mentioned - you had no other choice but Vacamonte. Thanks for showing us the reality.
    Thank you for uploading this video in HD and 4K.

    when you see all the crane lifts and accidents, this system seems like it is so much better for getting a boat out of the water, once it is on blocks it is on the blocks no slipping of the straps because of a weight imbalance, or a crane driver not moving slow enough, plus the flexibility of a base flat platform that can have blocks added directly to it
    did you paint on support point indicators ready for the next time, as in lines or some such to show where structurally the boat can support being rested or lifted for future. thinking about it i am surprised manufacturers do not do this as it would make the balance for lifting easier

    Very spectacular, the video shows you are also doing paint work, such a cleaning process, material costs, labor costs...... How much will it all cost ?

      Masks are against paint smell, mostly. The Pacific is really bad in terms of growth. You can dive and scrub every day, if you want.

    All that growth must have cost you some speed and efficiency. Did you notice an improvement after the cleanup?

      Oh yes, most definitely! But in the Pacific, it grows back at an alarming rate. This time, though, we have it better under control...

      Jo, das war in der Tat ein Abenteuer! Insbesondere das in den Hafen geschleppt werden - vorbei an im Hafenbecken versunkenen Schiffen... ohne eigenen Antrieb...

    How often do you need to take SAN out for cleaning?

    • @birtefilms
      @birtefilms 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That depends on many things. Some people say every two years. We clean the hulls now more often in the water. The shiplift in Vacamonte was the first time for us to lift the boat out of the water.

    Really easy to handle a trimaran..KKKK

    • @birtefilms
      @birtefilms 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Well, a big one like this has its problems. We had a Dragonfly 28 beforre. That is a trimaran that can be trailored and has its own lifting gear, a 3 point rope system, so it can be lifted out of the water by a crane.
