Sorry for the amount of comments I am adding but I have a lot to say! As for the night golf ball you found If you cut it open that style of ball I have actually cut open myself it has a little chip inside of it but the core is like some kind of clear plastic and the little chip has 2 cords one on each side and those make the ball light up which is also why the light is kind of on opposite poles of the ball. Pretty cool!

Exactly, no chance I would ever do that without permission. This is Newport NH, beautiful course with super friendly staff, my top rated course in the state in our Golfing the Granite State series currently!

i found a purple taylormade kalea last week 👀, i found the pink alignment aid supersoft around a month ago as well, pretty cool finds today in the video, yesterday my buddies each found some cool ones and gave me a blue crystal volvik and a orangish/red nike ball. you found a lot of vice drip balls lol ive only ever found one in my life, vice balls arent too common where i am, also ive yet to find a fade vice but i think you found two pretty sure the otherone is meant to look like that, i legit have a faded red one and my buddy has an actual fade one and yours looks way more similar to his
Awesome, ya I did some digging on the fade and it seems like that deeper red color is consistent with their branding - it appears the Pro and the Pro Plus offer different colors of fade which is neat!
I used to have one of those Titleist star balls in my old collection but unfortunately I had to get rid of 95% of my golf balls due to having to leave that area and couldn't bring so many with me. I didn't know this ball had so much history behind it!
@@JoeCoomber I use the 14' retriever, most of what I pick up is within 10' though. It does occasionally save me from going deeper in the mud and thorns though so it depends on your preference. And eyesight honestly. I have no association with the website that sells the retrievers, so I couldn't tell you. Love going out on a hunt for golf balls i go in the cover of darkness using a ultra violet torch golf balls glow in the dark it pretty amazing here in uk can see them from a good 15 feet away and deep grass is no match for a uv only a fraction of the ball needs to be showing for a glowing light i know in usa u have fears of snakes and bugs and other dangerous animals but its worth trying
@@dazsone1825 I've been trying to get permission to UV hunt for a few years now. Hopefully later this season. Straight up get shot trespassing and stealing at night here in the US, gotta do everything 100% over the board legit to even start thinking about planning that here. Soon ™️
I notice how the golf balls in usa are exactly the same brands and models as here in UK I get that same feeling when a truvis or pix is found get a real buzz
@@liamwalding1 In most cases the course us open which is why you need the owners permission to hunt and film. We wear hi-vis vests and have bright orange flags around our equipment, as you can see, so other golfers know we aren't playing. Most will stop and chat to check out what we find, and we obviously give balls back to them as well which is always a fun situation for everyone!!

Then you really just need to go where golfers won't go to get their balls back. Sharp/dangerous plants, down into ravines, into the marshes/swamps, the balls will be there!

@@quertage5048 You need the owners permission for sure, and you should certainly go somewhere where you are a member or they know you. For me, since I'm creating content for the course, there is usually a month of planning and contact negotiating with the course what the filming will look like, when it will take place, what deliverables both parties will provide, etc.
@@quertage5048 Ya I don't want to discourage you but it does take a lot of golf knowledge like how to interact with the course, where to place your cart, when to drive/move around. Certainly worth testing someplace low key first like a family par 3 course. Get permission from the owners and coordinate a quiet time when it's not busy!
You learned the hard way: store the really cool and amazing finds elsewhere in your pocket not your bag otherwise you’ll just be taking top flites home if you’re busy donating balls!!
@@brandypayne4351 Haven't been bitten yet this year, picked a few crawlers off. I've got some chemical deterrent that you add on your shoes/socks that works pretty well. Also the hip waders are amazing, haven't seen a tick on them yet.

We always film course showcases as well, on top of the ball hunting videos, so they have a new professional grade online footprint, and the large exposure from the ball hunting video. Realistically I'm offering a few thousand dollars in advertising in exchange. I also always offer to give the balls back to the courses to use for their range, youth programs, etc. Some take them back, most let me keep them given what I'm already offering. I'm also fully insured so they have no liability for any damage to me, my equipment, or the course while I'm working. It's a business transaction. 🤝
Ahh did I miss one in there?! It's so hard to concentrate and I knew I would miss one XD I don't exactly know how many it took, but given how many I found and when I stopped, I would estimate around 400 for an in-order completion!

The process is identical meaning the company uses a blasting method (usually water or sand) to remove the original paint and markings, then they repaint them and add a new clear coat so they look "new" again! These processes are different from recycling where balls are cleaned and resold as is. Now you know!

If it was printed on the ball then yes. Some are printed as p r o j e c t (a) or (s) whereas other years the marking is just (a) or (s).
