Metal tanks will fill by condensation you don’t need to connect to a body of water. Once you place them you just need to leave render range and they will start filling. Works great on SE.
Sorry it's been awhile since I played ASA but can you put a trough on a cart as well? Cuz if you did the Planters and a trough you could just make a really good Auto heal pig
It still won't irrigate. I have tanks and plots everywhere that are fine. But when I put plots onto the cart they don't irrigate therefor the plants do not grow.. I even have 1 cart with plots and water tanks and it still won't irrigate and grow

PSA: The carts will not resupply the troughs if nobody is rendering it. So be sure someone is in render range every couple hours.

Can you only irrigate the crops from tanks on top of the cart that is filled naturally by rain? I have them sitting in the base and it won't irrigate.
