Same here, Skrillex got dubstep big, now everybody turns their backs on him because he's 'too mainsteam', skrillex is some of the most hardcore dubstep out there

Yes he is, as well as post hardcore and electro - and no, I did not mean that. aha. Skrillex makes good dubstep, his is heavier and clever, I like other dubstep to but to be a fan of music you need to open your mind and hear good things in music, rather than being ignorant

Skrillex produces a lot of electro. He also makes what's called "brostep" which is just a subgenre of dubstep. So technically he does make dubstep. However I do agree that most of it is awful.
