You can react to the Coronation of the last Yang Dipertuan Agong, Al Sultan Abdullah from Pahang state. You can see the traditional ceremonial attire and customs of the Malay Royalty.

Singapore, Singapura formerly Temasek, was a part of Malaya before and after independence from the British on 31st August 1957. On 16th September, Malaysia was formed with Singapore, Sabah and Sarawak. Due to some unresolved political issues and disputes of our forefathers, Malaysia sets Singapore free for independence in 1965.

Brunei didn't join Malaysia as it was confronted by Indonesia. My late dad, a former police officer serving PDRM (Royal Malaysian Police) in Brunei during the confrontation. Personal fun fact, my late dad got my name Yasin Affandi from Brunei, said to be a nationalist in Brunei.

I wonder what Pi AI will say about Langkawi. It's the first listed UNESCO geopark in Southeast Asia. It has a limestone rock formation that dated 500 million years ago. It also has a throwstone rhat dated a billion years ago from the supercontinent. Malaysia also has one of the oldest tropical rainforests in the world dated 130 million years ago. Sabah has a triple listed UNESCO geopark, there are only 3 places in the world that has triple UNESCO geopark and Sabah is one of them.

I wonder what Pi AI will say about the Petronas Twin Towers. They are the first outside USA as the tallest buildings in the world from 1998 to 2004. From 1998 to present, they are still the tallest twin buildings in the world. Wonder if Pi AI would know the actual real cost to develop the twin towers in KLCC.

    Wow!
Entire content derived from asking Pi Ai. Interesting approach to content creating.
Well, the history of Malaya/Malaysia does not actually begin from the Malacca Sultanate. Archeological discoveries have found the existence of earlier kingdoms in the North, West and South on the Peninsula.
Another fact, the oldest skeleton was found in Lenggong, Perak. It is that of the reknowned Perak Man, which is said to be 11,000 years old.

Thanks for watching. Pi AI is really cool to talk to. I have some videos of it trying to teach me languages. It is not so great at that haha. But Pi has a great “personality”
Thank you for teaching me this about that archeological discovery. Super interesting. I’m learning so much about Malaysia from the comments on this video. Super cool. Can’t wait to explore more history together.

Yes, Msia is indeed a unique country. Our system of monarchy dates back in the 15th century with the arrival of prince frm Sumatra to open a settlement named Malacca in current modern Msia. With that establishment another Malay sultans also spread out thru out Malay penisular n Borneo. They could be frm same lineage as most sultans are related to one another.During those times trading hd bustled in Malacca with people coming frm middle east, india n china n surrounding region.During this time the Sultan hd converted to islam when the Arab traders came in.Pre Sultan empire in south east asia or better known as Sri Vijaya, in this region mostly they were Buddist as a proof of so many shrines found in java n in Malay peninsular. After the fall of Malacca to Portuguese invaders in 1511 Malacca was conquered for 100 yrs before the Ducth came in 1640 to overtake Malacca with the help of sultan of Johore. So things hd changed with the Dutch willing to hand over Malacca to Malay Sultan n the Sultan agreed to swap part of his land in sothern sumatra to the Dutch.Thats why Indonesia was part of Dutch colonialism. When British arrived in 1786 they hd an aggrement with the sultan of kedah to protect the peninsular frm the ongoing attacks from the siamese i.e Thailand. That is why Msia is known as a colony of Britain,in actual it wasnot. Its only the Malay sultans agreed the British hd the upperhand to rule Malaya for some kind of protection from any would be intruders.😊

Actually, no evidence that Buddhist or Hindus were previous religions in ancient Peninsular Malaysia, but animisme (paganism) as can be seen today with the indigenous tribes of Malaya, hence some paganism culture can still be seen amongst the rural areas of Peninsula. There were no ancient shrines or temples found in Malaya other than in Kedah Tua ancient civilization.
The runaway prince that established Malacca was from Java Island and it was in the late 14th century, not 15th century since he also embraced Islam and established the Malacca Sultanate. By the time of the downfall of Malacca in 16th century, Islam was already wide spread in Peninsula Malaya and Sumatera.
However, the one that brought Islam in Indonesia islands are actually the Chinese Hui tribe traders that received Islam earlier than South East Asia (during the time of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ himself when he sent one of his companions to spread Islam to China). The famous Chinese Sea Admiral - Cheng Ho was actually a Muslim.
Hinduism in South East Asia were embraced mostly by the Javanese people of Bali, but not throughout Java Island or other Javanese tribes in Sumatera. And Malay people were mostly in Peninsula Malaya and Sumatera. There are around 400 indigenous groups of native tribes in Malaysia, while there are over 700 in Indonesia.
The "Bumiputera" status in Malaysia includes all the 400 indigenous native tribes along with the Malays, Mamak (South Indians Muslim earliest traders), Peranakan (Malacca's earliest Chinese traders), Serani (Portuguese descendants in Malacca), and also some Thai mixed heritage up north (Kelantan & Perlis state). The past seafarers tribe of native Malays are of Bugis tribe (same tribe with the current Sultan of Johor) and can be found mostly in the south of Peninsula.
Personally, my own ancestors were from Javanese Sumatera (father's side) and Bugis + Banjar tribes (mother's side).
The current Malaysia's racial composition is roughly of 70% Bumiputera, 20% Chinese and 10% Indians. However the current Chinese and Indians population are not from the earlier era but the one that was brought in by the British as their slaves in tin mines and tea/rubber plantations, in the 18th century. After Malaysia received the Independence, the Chinese and Indians were given the option to stay or return back to their home country, but in order to stay they must obey the constitution of Malaysia and the Royalties. This is a very important factor as historically we know that the Chinese in China and Indians in India had rebelled against their own Royalties, so they must strip away any idea of communism in order to integrate as a Malaysian post Independence.
