The best thing is that Kosmic himself made an answer video to Badabun with some super slow jumps over lava pits, his heart rate going to over 3000 while opening his coke bottle and landing a 5:00:00 flat. It's glorious.
At the part where you mention the followers gained from SGDQ you actually got the 1:39:28 in June of that year, then did SGDQ in July, and then spiked in followers in August just like he showed. HBD and glad you're back on top!

The guy from the Badaboon channel came out with a great apology. He said they approached him and he was desperate and unknown. He said he didn't know anything about speed running and didnt know people would be so pissed off. He said he regrets it. He even brought it up on his channel where he got big and most of his subs didnt know about it.
Yeah, couple of things here: First off, he didn't even mention Karl Jobst as source, which is pretty sure it is, because both of them missed another obvious point for the fake speedrun (Ok, to be fair, one of hundreds, but I think it is one of the most obvious and crucial) was the timer. The milliseconds never goes full up but ends at like .3 or .4 and then repeat. Second, like your reaction proofed, this guy did a poor job researching the whole affair and for 90% parroting everyone else, because professionally he would have contacted you to ask at least your opinion, when he shows your diagram, or even better: Would have taken the diagram of the cheater in question. This let you stand in a bad light.

I don't remember the whole apology but it was something along those lines. There is an English translation of the video somewhere but Idk where
To those of us that aren’t familiar with mobile gaming, yes, speed running or even just playing Minecraft in iPhone sounds horrible at first, but that’s before you realize you can use Xbox/PlayStation controllers on mobile and basically you’re just playing console Minecraft on a tiny screen.

I'm genuinely confused about people that whip into a community and submit obviously fake runs. It's either intentional reputation suicide or they're just morons, completely unaware of how normie faked runs would be obvious to veterans of a community.

I gotta say, one of the two things Bedrock Minecraft does infinitely better than Java, is how you can play your same Bedrock world on multiple platforms. You can log into the same world from either your computer or phone, which is really convenient. Other is native controller support, of course. Honestly, if you don't have a pressing need to use mods, I really recommend Bedrock over Java.
I'm not sure if you're aware, but the channel you watched, Any Percent, was made by someone who wanted to leech views from Smallant and Linkus7's channel Lowest Percent. They copied the name (albeit slightly changed) and logo and format. Smallant has mentioned it on stream a few times when it has been brought up by chat.
So the video creator got caught cheating by splicing your (a speedrunner) follower graph but making a false claim about it while doing a video about other speedrunners who got caught cheating?
Duuuuude, don't put a handcam while cheating runs.... I mean, don't cheat at all (that's the best option!), but if you're gonna do it, at least try lol
