Dolomites by road bike · Pederü: the door to the Fanes-Sennes-Braies Natural Park

- This video is just an example that riding the Dolomites by road bike doesn't mean you have to stick to the famous Dolomites passes. Especially when you are in Alta Badia, there are many possibilities by riding all around the tiny hamlets and ladin farms.
Here for you is the Pederü cycling route, it's not only a fantastic road bike route but this is also the flattest you can ride if you want to be out for 3 hours and starting from Badia.

Love it, funny to recognize the roads! We stayed in San Vigilio for a few days in September 2021. It's a beautiful location! On the first day we did a hike starting in Pederü going to Fanes. On the second day I went cycling and first cycled to Pederü, then got back to San Vigilio to ride up the Furcia Pass. Thanks for the amazing content, both in winter & summer! :)

Complimenti per il video, posti che amo molto ... ti dico solo che dal 2007 vado ogni estate a san vigilio, conosco ogni curva che hai filmato!
Per i mountaibiker: non perdete le salite, toste ma piene di soddisfazioni, che si addentrano nel parco di fanes-sennes-braies. Dal pederu si può andare o verso il rifugio Lavarella (ampia carrareccia anche se a tratti molto smossa) o verso il Fodara Vedla, la cui prima salita a tornanti è ripidissima, praticamente verticale sulla parete della montagna. C'è anche la possibilità di andare dal Lavarella al Fodara Vedla ma non l'ho mai fatta ... non ce la potevo fare, troppo tosto per me, sono andato in quei posti in uscite diverse....

I've many bikes that I just use as I feel ... or depending what I plan to ride. But I'm really not too much in to bike tech. My old mechanic during the national team era always told me that I would also be able to ride a truck without feeling any difference 😂😂

Questo é un DJI Mini prima versione ... non avrá tutti i sensori di prossimitá ma almeno è l'unico con il telecomando di dimensioni ancora "oneste" 😉
Thank you Igor. There is no doubt that the Dolomite region is beautiful whatever the season. I would love to walk or bicycle there in the summer but my first preference is to experience the skiing. Can you tell me what the ski conditions and weather are generally like in January to mid February? Regards Gary.
Hi Gary, skiing conditions are both good in January and in February ... the huge difference is that:
January can still be damn cold and days are shorter. In February lifts are already open 1 more hour because of daylight but it is peak season and slopes are much busy.

Tamersc é un nome proprio e deriva da "Tamá" che erano le baitine che usavano per lasciare il fieno durante l'inverno per il foraggio degli animali.

Grande Igor ciao! Due cose, non devi fare arrabbiare la Claudia e in galleria, per sicurezza, dovresti avere delle luci, un abbraccio a tutta la famiglia. Magico, montare la Tx con lo smartphone e decollare senza fermarti, impostando l'active track un mito!!!
Meglio fare arrabbiare la moglie in bici che arrivare tardi a pranzo o cena 😂😂
Poi sempre senza active track che non funziona quasi mai 😉

@@UstariaPosta La radio senza schermo è solo poco più grande di quella che hai ma molto più performante, il drone in compenso è più piccolo e alla fine si compensano, sto parlando del Mavic Air 2s, del DJI mini 2 e del DJI 3 Pro hanno i Sensori e un Active Track eccellente oltre che una fotocamera HD

Lovely videos! Ten years since I was last there, but soon coming back. How are the conditions for gravel this time of the year, possible to go up from pederü towards fodara vedla and sennes? Or still snow/ice?
No right now it's too early. Usually after the first week of June it is possible. But it all depends on how much snow we got during winter time and how the snow melting was during spring.
Ogni volta che sono in val Badia in bici non manca Pederù (in mtb anche la salita per le malghe). Farai presto un video sulla salita di Rina?...a me ha "fatto male"!
Rina: se faccio il video in salita dice poco ... si sentirebbe solo il fiatone. Forse rende di piú la discesa 😉👍

È la prima versione che preferisco a quelle successive visto che nei modelli dopo hanno fatto il telecomando piú grande ... non proprio ideale per portarselo con se.
