With their mama short on milk and only six working nipples for seven kittens, I’m stepping in to help. This time, I brought out the big guns-a 20ml syringe with a soft little nipple tip. It seemed like a great idea, but… it’s a bit tricky for the kittens to suck milk from something so large! I’m careful not to press the plunger, but that means the kittens have to work extra hard. Sweet little Lulu especially needs her extra feedings to catch up in weight, and she’s giving it her best shot. I have raised multiple kittens. I think that they need a soft nipple that they can really suck on. I have never used that kind of nipple on a syringe. However, you are doing a great job!😊

Truly wonderful that the kittens are doing well, especially since the smaller Lulu is eating good and was somehow through the miracle of Mother Nature was the first to start to open her eyes. I think you're supposed to stimulate their bum to go toilet AFTER a feed, as they are more likely to need to go toilet when they are full. So cute watching that little one trying to clean his paw..

Thanks for the offer! I've been trying to give Lulu more time with her mom, but with seven kittens, it's hard to keep up. I'm doing my best to balance it all out and make sure they all get enough nutrition. 🐾❤️ Plus, I can't deprive the other kittens of proper nutrition for the sake of the smaller kitten. I had a sad experience a year ago when I did that and ended up losing two kittens.

Yes, a syringe is definitely the best way to keep track of their milk intake! I do make a note of how many milliliters each kitten gets, it helps to make sure they’re all getting enough. And you're right-Cream caught on so quickly! They’re all growing so fast, and soon they’ll be big, strong little ones. 😊

I agree with you. We just see videos about feeding little kittens but we don't get any feedback about their growth evolution .
