I hope near feature support soler panel for door bells too and needs urgent password for all devices, cameras, doors bells up if someone is steals them to not used anymore only the previous owner this can greater security and protection!

And perhaps it doesn’t do the charging of the battery but I will assume it does. Thanks for any info if you since the 235 is not available yet. I did compare the spec sections on TP link site on both of these models.
@@Scratchen2 hub isn’t required. It comes with a separate plug in chime. You can insert an SD card in the doorbell to record 24/7 when hardwired, or only motion events when on battery.
@@Sgtmajorsir according to Tapo the only difference is the d225 resolution is 2304 x 1728 vs the d235 resolution being 2560 x 1920. What’s weird is that I have the d225 and the resolution on the video files are 2560 x 1920. See TH-camr Lifehackster’s review of the d225 and his video files are also 2560 x 1920. So I’m confused what the difference is between the two. When hardwired both charge the battery. Mine is hardwired without existing doorbell wiring using a 24 volt AC to AC plug in transformer.

So this doorbell does not require the hub to operate?

The Tapo app doesn’t have the pairing to a chime option
You pair it through the doorbell.
