The girl from nextgen was incredibly unlikable. I understood the character and why she was the way she was, but that didn't help any when she was being just as abusive as her bullies and was spiteful and took advantage of the robot. And also, why didn't the robot just tell her they needed to back up his memory to an external drive before he deleted shit. I mean, in a technoeccentric world like that one, you'd think they would have the capability to make backups. Just saying.
@@donutdog5326 He was new, but his memory core was damaged. It still could have been fixed if he had told her sooner and she had been a decent human being and gotten him either fixed or found a backup drive to store the memories until he could be fixed. But she didn't care even when he did finally tell her despite how much he was clearly sacrificing for her. There was a hook up to dowload information into him, so that means there was a hook up to connect him to a computer or external drive to make backups. It was a cheep and poorly done gimmick meant to force an emotional response from the audience but all it really did was make both the girl and robot look like idiots and the girl look like a jerk.
@April - IMO she was justified for being unlikable. Bullies, neglect, loss of parent, being just left to her own devices, why should she suddenly turn into a marshmallow? She's consistently disliked robots and, yes, was overjoyed at the opportunities having a "stupid robot" yielded her. It takes losing her mom to kinda break the camel's back and at that point she kinda starts truly changing for the better. As for the memory thing, there's several nuances to this. 1) it isn't just a "robot", it's expositioned as a "sentient robot". This is especially important to distinguish as it's contrasted against the servile "robots" like the Q-bots and police-bots. It would make sense for the Q-bot maybe to be able to casually plug into a flash drive as it's a consumer good, but why would the combat-purposed robot have a external drive slot or whatever? 2)This excuses the robot's omissions, in turn, because it's not just a fully automatically driven character - it chose to hide its weakness. 3)Just read your later comment, and you're right, IF"she had been a decent human being" she would have fixed him, but this isn't Big Hero 6 with the main character being a genius, either. As for being a cheap and poorly done gimmick - you know what's a cheap and poorly done gimmick? Robot death by battery/critical damage. Everyone gets sad, the robot shuts down, they plug in a battery or swap out a circuit board and YAY, everyone's favorite good old sentient robot is back. While the ending does really jerk you for tears, I'm VERY pleased that they didn't just "bring back the good old sentient robot" like every single other movie of this type. It's a lukewarm happy ending - it could be happier, but it's still sad in its own way. It commits to amnesia and that makes it better. Come to think of it, including your idea of "backups" would just ruin this movie more because YOU'D LITERALLY "BRING BACK THE GOOD OLD SENTIENT ROBOT" AGAIN!!!!!
Haven’t finished the list, but if Into The Spiderverse wasn’t at least 2 or 3 Imma be MAD. Spiderverse is my favorite Western animated movie of all time. But, like you said, this list is subjective.
*My Grinch review* The was just pleasing for me to watch, but many of the jokes where just no good. I found myself laughing at the grinchs face expression and movement. Filler is good and bad in movie. The panic attack he had hit me hard. And I know! THE WORK OUT SCENE WAS SO AWKWARD! somehow the background music and max growling with a disgusted look made me laugh. *he literally had go time written across his butt* Character design was acceptable for me, of course I was with everyone they said the Grinch I should have been yellow and his teeth should have been messed up. I also want to see someone Photoshop the rightful colors he should have and see how I would look with everything else. Cuz maybe illumination did that for a reason, it wouldn't look right. *plus everything has to look cute cause why not*. THE COLORS THE SOUNDTRACK SO GOOD!!!!! Cindy not having a dad was a interesting take on her. All who's have a full family but her, which makes me wonder how soon did he leave causes she still has baby brothers. The Grinch being the only one is a orphanage is likely the saddest thing about this movie. No one was there at all the place was empty like they just *wanted* to forget about him. (My thoughts after the movie) Would I watch this again? Yes, and I want it to be in 4k. Did the grinch grow a father daughter relationship with Cindy lou? I feel that's going to happen. Rating... 7/10 It was way more enjoyable than The secret life of pets. that movie was a let down
The very majority of people in the world would including myself would believe that about the one and only Marvel movie Sony Pictures Animation ever made so far. Hell, it even got AniMat's Seal of Approval. Speaking of AniMat, despite being made by a major anination studio that seems to have *MASSIVELY* redeemed itself with Spider-Man: Into the Spider-verse, we are worried that AniMat might not review the next chronological SPA film Wish Dragon because he didn't bring up his thoughts on it along with the upcoming Sonic movie (with sexy THICC-legged Sonic holding up "Can't a guy work out? Be back next year. ❤ Sonic") even if he knew they were upcoming.
When you do 2019, I think How To Train Your Dragon 3 might win 2019. But it might not be the best. The years just started there’s a lot of animation films coming up, I guess we’ll see.
My most favorite thing about the Teen Titans Go movie was right after the first credits. If any of you didn't know, after the credits they show all the Teen Titens in their original look with Robin saying pretty much the following lines "Is anyone there?" "I think we may have found our way back". It was a pleasant surprise seeing them like how they originally were and with a big mystery too of how they got back to their "original" world. Especially since in one of the TTG ep. they talk about how the Tv guy villian trapped them inside the babyish world of Teen Titens Go for they couldn't fight crime in their original world.
In my opinión, 2018 was the worst year of the 2010s. Sure, it has great stuff (wink wink Spiderverse wink) but it had a lot of terrible stuff (vomit vomit Bowsette vomit)
I watched the new Grinch and actually laughed. One of the only animated movies I’ve actually laughed at. I agree, it has it’s flaws, but this Grinch was lovable and the movie actually makes you feel bad for him. It’s amazing :)

Cmon, you can't say the Grinch is the best movie in 2018 when it comes to the animation and the drawing of grinch's dog, this is by far, the best and cutest dog of all movies out there
We do need that revival! Watching that show as a kid is what got baby me into comics. It’s a good show to introduce kids to the wonderful world of DC comics!
I've been watching these lists lately and taking notes on recommendations for movies to watch. I've watched Mutafukaz (MFKZ) a couple of days ago and I absolutely LOVED IT.

The Grinch slapped. Most kid's movies are boring and uninspired to me and cringey to just make kids laugh, but the Grinch had really good comedy and jokes
You know, Glass-Reflection Reviews said this "The Ending is Paramount!" This is why Madoka Magica has been nicknamed "The Anime That Has Possibly Surpassed Full-Metal Alchemist". The reason on why I bring this up is because The Grinch honestly had the most powerful ending I have ever seen in a Christmas Movie in a VERY long time! Do not misunderstand me, Arthur Christmas is STILL my personal favorite Christmas Movie, but....my god....that cheap animation studio KNEW how to get things done and what they NEEDED to put their money in! The visuals are spectacular and honestly....The Grinch, from what I have heard, has won best animated picture, and I can honestly believe it. To put it in a nutshell, it's a lot like Madoka Magica in that it starts off quite crappy and god awful, BUT, it just keeps getting better and better and better....and then....it just turns spectacular and oh my god.... It felt like I was on a fictional "How The Grinch Stole Christmas Ride", and then.... At the end of the ride.... Everything just STANDS STILL and our hearts just feel for The Grinch and the great feast is revealed to us, and yes.... YES.... The Grinch himself is the one that's carving the roast beast! And then we get off of the ride, and we say, "That was the best ride I have EVER been on! It was incredible! It was amazing!" Remember, a perfect movie ALWAYS ends a VERY high note.
When I heard Nicolas Cage voicing Superman in Teen Titans Go to the Movies, I could not stop laughing. It took him 30 years, but he finally got to play Superman in a major movie.
It felt like one too. I was really stoked for it, because the thought of Batman relying on nothing more than his training and understanding of ancient Japan to defeat his adversaries sounded really cool (like TMNT 3, but not so bad.) But then the mechas happened and I was crushed.
ok, so. Next Gen is basically an angsty Charlene Yi (Ruby or Chloe from Steven Universe and We Bare Bears respectively) who is friends with a Totally-not-Baymax clone.

And also, why didn't the robot just tell her they needed to back up his memory to an external drive before he deleted shit. I mean, in a technoeccentric world like that one, you'd think they would have the capability to make backups. Just saying.
Oh yeah you're right...
I thought that big robot guy was a new model though but you still have a really good point
I liked Next Gen first time I saw it. But my God, the cliches are EVERYWHERE
3)Just read your later comment, and you're right, IF"she had been a decent human being" she would have fixed him,
but this isn't Big Hero 6 with the main character being a genius, either.
Omfg........ you watched Mutafukaz Uhg I’m so happy!!!!!!! That’s my favorite movies so far! I wish it was more popular 😭😭😭👍👍👍👍👍👍
MFKZ is like the real version of two brothers.
The main reason I love Next Gen so much:
"WOW! THANK YOU FOR OPENING ME! OH LOOK, HERE I GO CLOSING AGAIN *WEEEEEEEE* !"
*My Grinch review*
The was just pleasing for me to watch, but many of the jokes where just no good.
I found myself laughing at the grinchs face expression and movement.
Filler is good and bad in movie.
The panic attack he had hit me hard.
And I know! THE WORK OUT SCENE WAS SO AWKWARD! somehow the background music and max growling with a disgusted look made me laugh.
*he literally had go time written across his butt*
Character design was acceptable for me, of course I was with everyone they said the Grinch I should have been yellow and his teeth should have been messed up.
(My thoughts after the movie)
Would I watch this again?
Yes, and I want it to be in 4k.
Did the grinch grow a father daughter relationship with Cindy lou?
I feel that's going to happen.
Rating...
7/10
It was way more enjoyable than
The secret life of pets.
that movie was a let down
Ultimate Oc i didn’t really like the new Cindy Lou. They changed her personality a lot but it honestly didn’t bug me too much. Great reviews btw.
The secret life of pets was actually really good.
THICK ICE LMAOO
Anyway the grinch sucked.
@@iamgus8364 full on bad or somewhat bad?
@@Bumblebee_Azii full on bad. barely any redeemable features.
Cellspex: "Gnomeo and Juliet spend the entire time fighting about nothing."
Gwen and Trent: "Oh, so YOU two are doing it too?"
Was not expecting it, but I like it
Never thought I would see total drama here
b r u h
i think mutafukaz was a pretty amazing movie
plus "HoW DOes ViNZ KEEP THAT FLAME ON HIS HEAADD????"
naomi salti yessss uhg I love it
Mutafukaz is underrated, especially the comics
mutafukaz WAIT i think i know what is says...
Me (sings): "You're a mediocre.. Mr Grinch."
Underrated lol
ABOUT BLOODY TIME WOMAN!!!
but still,
About time? I think this is the quickest she's ever got this list up. Props to Cellspex for consistent quality and to getting this done so fast.
@@leahgriffith60 True that.
The past years have been wonky for her
But still what?
I'm glad your back
I think spiderverse is the best movie from 2018
The very majority of people in the world would including myself would believe that about the one and only Marvel movie Sony Pictures Animation ever made so far.
Now a little time after mfkz is out then
MAYBE
JUST MAYBE
WE GET ANOTHER FRIKN WAKFU SEASON
When you do 2019, I think How To Train Your Dragon 3 might win 2019. But it might not be the best. The years just started there’s a lot of animation films coming up, I guess we’ll see.
Wait, Batman had a ninja movie?
Ryo Asuka for now yep
Yep and it's the worst Batman movie ever, if you like Batman you shouldn't watch this movie is so disappointed
@@mrkks595 Wouldn't say the worst, but it did have many flaws.
*IMA NINJA, IM ALREADY NINJA*
*IMA NINJA, IM ALREADY NINJA*
The opening scene to next gen reminded me alot of Scott Pilgrim
Mfkz movie should hav been a show with the time to actually tell story, the animation was fun and characters were designed simple and likable
It made me happy that of all Charlyne Yi's roles, you address her as Chloe from We Bare Bears.
I literally thought no one even saw or heard of MFKZ, I didn't think it'd be in this list
SAME!!!! I’m so sad that people don’t know about this movie!!!! I was so surprised that she had that movie on this list I freaked out!!!
Same here!! I love the movie!
thank god is
on netflix
Same!
2018 must've been a pretty great year if the "worst" movie of the year is just sub-par.
In my opinión, 2018 was the worst year of the 2010s. Sure, it has great stuff (wink wink Spiderverse wink) but it had a lot of terrible stuff (vomit vomit Bowsette vomit)
I just wanted to say,
WE NEED TO GIVE MFKZ MORE CREDIT LIKE WTF ITS SO UNDERRATED
I watched the new Grinch and actually laughed. One of the only animated movies I’ve actually laughed at. I agree, it has it’s flaws, but this Grinch was lovable and the movie actually makes you feel bad for him. It’s amazing :)
You put songs from both A White Christmas and A Muppet Christmas Carol in here? Damn you got my whole Christmas childhood in here
I was really disappointed by Next Gen because Pan Pizza had this glowing review of it and I had basically the same reactions to it as Cellspex has.
Amazing:
1 Spiderman into the spider verse
2 i’ll dogs
3 incredibles 2
Great:
4 wreck-It Ralph 2
5 Teen titans go to the movies
Good:
6 Smallfoot
7 early Man
8 next GEN
Ok:
9 sergeant stubby and American hero
10 The grinch
11 Hotel Transylvania 3
Bad:
12 Sherlock gnomes
13 gnome alone
14 duck duck goose
I didn't like incredibles 2
Shronk 4K
But THEY did
So shut up
Plush Wizard What..?
Agreed
Agree
Cmon, you can't say the Grinch is the best movie in 2018 when it comes to the animation and the drawing of grinch's dog, this is by far, the best and cutest dog of all movies out there
Toothless is a better dog despite not being a dog.
@@Omnipotentmonkey Very true
I agree
Everybody Doge is the best dog
uh
There's Yolei! Hey, we missed you in Digimon Adventure Tri!
I thought the grinch was going to be absolutely horrible. It ended up being a cute spin on the concept. I would check it out if you’re interested.
I loved the fact that Stan Lee made a cameo in Teen Titans Go!
The best part of The Grinch was Tyler the Creator. I'm right.
Cell Spex I have news.....
Ummm so that movie that was the worst of 2015 I shall not speak the polar bears name
Had a sequel
Brick Boss Bennett who asked for a sequel to that shit?! At least it was direct to dvd
Hardly even counts as a movie though
CELLY ITS HERE
Actually bear film was made in 2016
Brick Boss Bennett They really made a sequel of that?!
*The thing is, that I haven’t watched most of these animated films yet*
THE MECH SCENE AT THE END OF BATMAN NINJA KILLED ME YES
MFKZ is not at all weird for Ankama Studios. I love their stuff and I still want to see it.
CatCrazyMinerGrl
It’s mfkz and I would love to see it
where can i even see this movie??
@@madrugaiden2317 Since it's not playing in America the only other ways I know to seeing it are either bootlegs, a friend has it, or buying it yourself.
It's M.F.K.Z. I remember it because Celly pointed out that it was basically a sort-of-censored version of motherf***ers.
The Grinch slapped. Most kid's movies are boring and uninspired to me and cringey to just make kids laugh, but the Grinch had really good comedy and jokes
i have a suggestion for 2020: ranking the worst films of each year from best to worst and/or ranking the best films of each year from worst to best.
It's kind of sad how a movie about Gnomes turned out to be the better Sherlock Holmes movie of 2018 compare to Holmes and Watson.
If cellspex put an intro, the music would probably be Sunflower from Into the Spiderverse
My least favorite of the year was hotel Transylvania 3 watched it with my my little cousin when we were out not even he liked it lmao
Fun fact my little brother actually cried when the grinch was saying sorry for what he did and I was like for real
The Name Mae + Doodles + Baseball Bat = *NIGHT IN THE WOODS FLASHBACKS*
I’m watching this in 2019
*I M A R E B E L*
YEE
same! so close to part 2
It was amazing!"
Remember, a perfect movie ALWAYS ends a VERY high note.
Hey you got it out (kinda) on time good work👏 also who’s excited for how to train your dragon 3?
Me!!! Me!!! Me!!! 🙋♀️!!! 🙋♀️!!! 🙋♀️!!!
Banoffee De Fairikaik 3 more days to go (for me at least)😁
When I heard Nicolas Cage voicing Superman in Teen Titans Go to the Movies, I could not stop laughing. It took him 30 years, but he finally got to play Superman in a major movie.
Just discovered this channel and I love it
WHO CARES the original Teen Titans was my childhood young justice cant replace my childhood
Best (early) Birthday present ever! 💝
Batman ninja sounds like a fanfic
It felt like one too. I was really stoked for it, because the thought of Batman relying on nothing more than his training and understanding of ancient Japan to defeat his adversaries sounded really cool (like TMNT 3, but not so bad.)
But then the mechas happened and I was crushed.
Bruh it is based of of the comic of the same name
@@StriderZessei based of a comic
Okay I haven't watched the video yet but if I don't see Into The Spiderverse here I will write a very strongly worded letter to somebody.
2:19 thank you so much for playing that song
I'm really upset what they did to teen titans and hotel transylvania.... :(
Ikr
3:54 nice reference to Kilroy was Here
Sherlock Gnomes had an easter egg where someone dabbed
every day, we stray further from god.
OreoKKat i like the movie tho
ok, so. Next Gen is basically an angsty Charlene Yi (Ruby or Chloe from Steven Universe and We Bare Bears respectively) who is friends with a Totally-not-Baymax clone.
The video is almost finished , and you put FRICKIN’ TEEN TITANS GO ! CELLSPEX , WHAT ARE YOU DOING ?!
