From the very early age of 10, Sakur Khan learnt music from Manganiyar Gharana. He was hugely influenced by the writings of Bulleh Shah, Shah Latif, Sachaal, Sar Mast, Mirabai, Kabir and such Mystic and Sufi poets. Today he is popular the world over for his Sufi rendition and preservers to perform popular songs with cultural influences.
