I don't get it like from the first vid about long division, instead of subtracting you added it 4x²-(-3x²)=7x², but now instead of adding 9x²-(-x²)=8x² you subtracted it, this is what I'm stuck with can somebody help me🙏

The difference is that in this video he is actually subtracting 9x²-(x²), not 9x²-(-x), in the first example he multiplied a negative by a negative making it possitive and adding them together. In this video he multiplied a negative by a possitive making it a negative and subtracting the two numbers.
