As someone who came from a Shia family, one of the biggest problems is that the average Shia is expected to just blindly follow the higher-ups. If you try to show the clear evidence, instead of refuting it, they'll just say to leave it to the "experts." Because of this, no one can challenge the given narrative using hadith.
The same with Christians - they're told: "Just believe" or "Just have faith". I used to be one but always had questions despite what they told me - I always deeply felt Tawhid and not polytheism or "trinity"....
As an Iraqi shia muslim family and Shhia muslim are not same as christanity and jews because we hate polythism and paganism and my parent and sibling told me. That ayah in Surah Faatir about invoking other than Allah is something I haven't seen before and is a really good argument against those people who claim that invoking the dead is bid'ah but not shirk. The sin of Eve was that she gave into the lower animalistic nature of her soul, which exists within every male or female human being, and she successfully tempted her husband with her desires. For this reason, every woman after her who commits a similar sin is simply following a pattern set by Eve. This is not to say that women are uniquely evil compared to men, as the story has been interpreted in other religions. On the contrary, this is similar to what occurred with the first son of Adam, Cain, who killed his brother due to jealousy and anger. As an Indonesian with many traditions/assimilation and innovations, thank you for pointing this out. It is very hard to just stop the tradition/innovation passed down generation to generation and embedded into norms in our society. Even our famous ulama who are doing da'wa fall into it. We don't need to rely on a corrupted book to prove the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh). Read the Quran and pray regularly with understanding and InshaAllah Allah will clear your doubts.

That's what the Qaddianis/Ahmaddiyas also argue but they disregard the obvious in the Qur'an and will argue for hours the most obscure things in ahadith or otheer sources to explain and support their belief, which goes against the Qur'an on its face.

Sayf, with All due respect, you don't have the sunnah of RasululAllah SAWW. You abandoned it openly and replaced it with what you attribute as Sunnah. I don't mean in the sense of "your hadiths are lies" no, I mean in the sense if acknowledging it but rejecting it and its clear understanding in place of the unclear. This includes hadith Al thaqalayn wherein he had left for us the Quran and Sunnah, except that's in none of the sahih, the mutawatir sahih is Qu'ran and 3etrah of Ahlulbayt. Of course another deviation appears and you take the one in sahih muslim where conveniently is the only one that doesn't say specifically according to you to follow which Zayd RA says his memory was getting weak. On another hadith by zayd he says to follow and swears by Allah his wives are not amongst them, but that's secondary. RasululAllah SAWW also said that Ali is the Wali and Mawla in mutawatir hadiths on different occasions, and in sahih Muslim 1757c Abu bakr and Omar does say Wali means successor. The closest translation to Wali is Authority over [ ]. From this deviation, my brother in islam, you took from people the prophet SAWW warned about. The likes of Mu'awiyah who the prophet said is a caller to hellfire. From him all your scholars were picked and hadiths were filtered. Who disagrees is a heretic, and whoever worships the companions over Allah SWT and his Messanger SAWW is accepted. This is not meant as an attack, I apologize if you do, I tried to make it as respectful as possible.

A public advise to a revert is fine, but the style can be differr upon. That ayah in Surah Faatir about invoking other than Allah is something I haven't seen before and is a really good argument against those people who claim that invoking the dead is bid'ah but not shirk. I knew about the hadith that the du'a is worship but now I know about a very explicit ayah from the Qur'an as well.

The sin of Eve was that she gave into the lower animalistic nature of her soul, which exists within every male or female human being, and she successfully tempted her husband with her desires. For this reason, every woman after her who commits a similar sin is simply following a pattern set by Eve.
This is not to say that women are uniquely evil compared to men, as the story has been interpreted in other religions. On the contrary, this is similar to what occurred with the first son of Adam, Cain, who killed his brother due to jealousy and anger. Every person after him who murders another person is simply following a pattern set by him.

As an Indonesian with many traditions/assimilation and innovations, thank you for pointing this out. It is very hard to just stop the tradition/innovation passed down generation to generation and embedded into norms in our society. Even our famous ulama who are doing da'wa fall into it. Even do riya cus they got so much money from their influence. They doesnt even feel shameful doing it, like sharing photos riding overpriced car/motorcycle, having super big house, in social media. Some take little further, scamming umma for sake of "place in heaven". Maybe im just ordinary muslim, but i think its wrong behavior as muslims figure aka ulama.

We don't need to rely on a corrupted book to prove the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh). Read the Quran and pray regularly with understanding and InshaAllah Allah will clear your doubts.
The Qur'an is its own source and is from Allah, doesn't need any other books or scriptures (especially corrupted books) for verification.

no, I mean in the sense if acknowledging it but rejecting it and its clear understanding in place of the unclear. This includes hadith Al thaqalayn wherein he had left for us the Quran and Sunnah, except that's in none of the sahih, the mutawatir sahih is Qu'ran and 3etrah of Ahlulbayt. Of course another deviation appears and you take the one in sahih muslim where conveniently is the only one that doesn't say specifically according to you to follow which Zayd RA says his memory was getting weak. On another hadith by zayd he says to follow and swears by Allah his wives are not amongst them, but that's secondary.
RasululAllah SAWW also said that Ali is the Wali and Mawla in mutawatir hadiths on different occasions, and in sahih Muslim 1757c Abu bakr and Omar does say Wali means successor. The closest translation to Wali is Authority over [ ].
From this deviation, my brother in islam, you took from people the prophet SAWW warned about. The likes of Mu'awiyah who the prophet said is a caller to hellfire. From him all your scholars were picked and hadiths were filtered. Who disagrees is a heretic, and whoever worships the companions over Allah SWT and his Messanger SAWW is accepted.

Your entire argument is just misinterpreting and not giving enough context as to what they're doing. I expected better arguments, especially from someone like you. The level of ignorance being displayed is comparable to that of non Muslims trying to "debunk" Islam.
We do not mourn the death of the Prophet (SAWS) like that because he wasn't massacred. He died fulfilling his duties, with a massive group of loyal followers. Imam Hussein (AS), on the other hand, had himself, his family and companions massacred, looted and imprisoned at the hands of those who were meant to be his brothers in faith. We are mourning for him as this is an important lesson for the Muslim Ummah as a whole.
Your arguments weren't even relevant to the clip. You provided little to debunk the our arguments against the "infallibility" of the Sahabah.
