You are now in a country that is the cradle of civilizations, the country that taught humanity reading, law, culture and science, but the wars that passed through it ended it somewhat, but I will come back better because it has wonderful people
In Irak they have delicious dried small lemons called "numi Basra" which make nice herbal tea or is used in cooking, for instance to flavour chicken liver in carry sauce.
👋Hey there David, Wow! Another awesome video of a country that I so personally love & cherish. I've visited Iraq & I have to say, that the Iraqi people, are some of the most wonderful, welcoming, hospitable & kind human beings that I've ever met. I cry when I think about the kindness/care that was showered upon me during my time there. I've actually lost count. I was given free H2O wherever I went & here in the West, I've never received free H2O when walking around. Everyone was friendly, curious & wanted to know who I was & where I was from, when in reality I was there, because I wanted to immerse myself in their world, in their culture & get to know them better as a people. I was offered much food & many times I didn't even end up buying myself lunch or dinner. I felt guilty for that, but I was most grateful & appreciative. I met such amazing & beautiful people, I ate some of the most delicious, tasty & interesting food, I witnessed such amazing history & architecture abound, I fell in love with the culture & a whole lot more. IMPO, I think that the media has done much wrong by Iraq & it's people, because once you set foot there & you meet all the people up close & personal, you quickly come to realise, great truths & so far as I personally experienced, they were all very positive. I intend to revisit Iraq, as I had the best time there & I'd love to head farther afield & visit many regions that I never got to see during my first visit there. To the Iraqi people, I salute you all & here's sending my love & best wishes to you all, as you treated me like royalty during my visit & I didn't ever deserve such gold star treatment. But nonetheless, of course I was truly humbled, grateful & appreciative. I should also add, that we should never believe all that we hear about specific countries or ethnic groups, because unless we've personally visited a country, in reality, we've absolutely no idea of what's truly going on & what that country's people are really all about. Thank you David, for showcasing the real & true Iraq to the greater world. Peace🙏

When the barber has just finished shaving you or cutting your hair, he will usually say : "na'îman !" It's a wish meaning "with softness". And, as always in this sort of situation, there is an answer. So, if you want to be quite polite, you answer : "Allâh yan'am 'alayk !" ("Might Allâh (God) be soft with you !").

He is right iraq is very beautiful country with beautiful people. It’s modernism, culture and food is best. It’s a full package of tourism. Open for world please. Iraqi music is nice and Iraqi belly Dance with tossing of hairs are beautiful. Very unique. Even Kurdistan is beautiful as well. Beautiful people and beautiful country. Kurdish dance is beautiful. So it should open for world. Saudi Arab should join Iraq with Neom project. Very unique country. Iraqi people love Israel and American people.
