In some cases I've seen, yeah. They'll use a sentence such as "If you can tolerate the anime aesthetic" or "The art style will definitely turn away some" and then at the bottom where they show you pros and cons along with the final score, they put the art style as a con.
WishingTikal, Actually I valgely remember a very similar battle system involving duels and ships in in either Suikoden IV or Suikoden III. It a very basic 6-way rock paper sizzors setup with the AI-gear toward doing particular actions more than others. Can you give me a day or two relook up the battle strategy for Suikoden, so I can help you better with the G-Castle ship battle system?
Uhm how i'm suppose to make my peon? After battle that in ch. 1 I try to make one but I couldn't do it. -_- I had 536 money so I should have been able to right?
He gives you hints at the bottom, which made this very funny. "This is a good time to attack no?" *defends* "I feel like we are being targeted" *attacks*
But games can be created in any visual style, shape and form as they want, nobody saids you have to buy and play those kinds of games if you don't like anyway. Also if that's the case then it is their own IDIOTIC FAULT for buying the game with that kind of style in the FIRST PLACE!!! Other than that, it makes me wonder what they are trying to point out when looking at the physiques.
This seems like a quirky bit of fun to be had in this game. Probably a good spot to fill after finishing Trinity Universe. :)
you know what, i've changed my mind it actually sounds good!

Most reviewers actually bump down an RPG's score because the art style is anime.

sure. I've been picking random commands lol
Hey bro remember this game?.
If not then here it is
Yeah, unlike like Tales of RPG where you get a upbeat tune.
How is it possible to weaponize rabbits?
What makes you say that???
there's something else that doesnt make a single sense: the G-Castle battle theme, it's the worst battle theme i've ever heard

Why didn't you visit the Peon Salon or talk to the other peons or visit the weapon shop, or the clothes shop?
I do it off-camera
I see. Do you also visit the Mugen Field off camera?
yeah
Hmmm.... I imagine the Charm level has gone up to beyond 20%, why not just show the True Ending after you get the final Mugen Field event?
I finished that game 2 years ago, I'm not playing it right now you know lol
Blurriness has nothing to do with it.
Probably because of the anime style. I swear reviewers need to stop making "anime style" a criterion for grading down a game. -_-
Okay, so let me get this straight. You are saying that viewers degrade games down just because of the of animation and labelling it as "anime"???
