Hey Mark, yeah bit of a break at the moment, me and my partner had our first kid in February so thats had me busy plus my ankle injury i did last year. I had surgery 10 days ago so now ive gotta recover from that but once im back to 100% mobility im starting on a new switching layout as ive given my old one to a mate since i couldnt finish it off, it was just collecting dust lol

@@19scamps92 I was hoping to start on a big scratch build/ kit bash to make a tropicana juice factory for the new module but ive gotta build the module first so i can work out dimensions etc but it looks like ive got to have surgery on my ankle so it might be a few months before i can start that, ive got a lot of locos and rolling stock i can work on though and i also do a lot of military kits as well so that will keep me busy 😎

First of all: all the best for your surgery, i hope all goes well mate!
What kind of military vehicles? I have some arsenal-M resin kits for my DOD train if it ever gets delivered...
Awesome! Can't wait for that factory building! I ordered the pikestuff building you did after your video.
I love your painting and also the stuff you use is available here... most US modelers tend to use spray cans which i am not a big fan of but i have access to all VALEJO and such...

@@19scamps92 cheers brother much appreciated! I enjoy doing tanks, ive got some M1A1 Abrams, type 99 MBT, armoured carriers (humvees) Sherman's, and I just finished a nice M41 walker bulldog, and i like the tamiya kits mainly because they come with rubber tracks that go straight on, i did an italari kit and the tracks were all individual pieces, was a nightmare to assemble 😬 those arsenal-M resin kits are nice man ive seen a few videos on TH-cam and they look good especially on a train! Ill look foward to seeing how your pike stuff kit turns out they are definitely my favourite kits to use, and the only time I use cans are for priming but they are so expensive for a small amount so ive actually brought some Vallejo airbrush primer for some new military kits ive got coming, I think it will last longer than a rattle can 😎

I love that graffiti and weathering. I even think the gondola looks good with the dents and gouges. When I first saw you do it I almost cringed when you were working on the panels and I was thinking DON'T POKE HOLES IN IT! And when I am not watching the video I end up laughing when I think about my reaction. But then when I watched the video again I had the same reaction and the cycle repeats.
