Russian teams in any sports whether it is volleyball, or basketball, or swimming, or wrestling tend to be very physically strong. Here is the same. They were tallest teams in the London Olympics Volleyball. Bravo, Rossiya!

Still it's the Olympics, it's about encouraging others to do sport. And although the medals are very important to the players, it's mainly about the world coming there and the competitors doing the sports they love.

Dear me! What's wrong with the public? Their bullying of the Russian serving players is indecent, ridiculous and discrediting for themselves. It's the Olimpiad, not a backyard scuffle (in case people don't know where they are). Thanks God the Russian supporters behave in a more civilised and Olimpic-spirit way. Good for Russia!

I think every team wants to win a medal at EVERY event. We lost (not only do we?:]) with the Masters Games. Hmm wish I had played with Brazil in the quarterfinals. I wonder who could have said "totally messed up", because it is easy to say.

Actually i was in that crowd as the Olympics nearly came to a close now eight years ago... Poland went on to win all World Cups since then and are trying to do the hattrick of three consecutive World Champion Titles in two years...but now they could've finally won an olympic gold medal if COVID did not happen . Kubiak , Kurek, Wilfredo Leon as the leaders with Nowakowski , Kochanowski, Bednorz and all others stepping in their roles. Hopefully we will have the Olympics in 2021

The reason why they opted to wear this horrendous uniform is that it's almost the same uniform worn by the gold medal winners from Montreal 1976 -- against then USSR. Maybe, they thought the luck could rub off on them so they chose to wear the same outfit. Unfortunately, Russia had other plans.

Really? It rejoice that you played in the semi-final against Argentina because of Russia in the finals could not win by running 2-0! Disappointed? But that Poland won the World League, beating Brazil 4 times!

I have to agree with tagosadilim. Adidas really has made the worst design this time for the vb teams they sponsored in London2012. Check out Team GB and Team China's VB uniforms. Both horrendous!

Alright, I am sensing tensions here. No need to get wind up! I am just disliking the design of a sportswear, which is not only for Team Poland but also for several other vb teams in London2012!Not the country nor the colours.

I am a fan of China women's Volleyball NT. And I hate what they wore for London2012 which is basically the female cutting of Poland Men's. Big disappointment of the design from Adidas. Chill out, no Hatred here!
