I remember your Bannerlord attempts back in the day. Good times, and it convinced me to try it out. Thousands of hours put into it over the past couple years. I had my eye on this mod, and now you are making me want to reinstall the game just to play this mod. Good show, Turin!
A few general mount and blade tips that I don't think were covered in the stream: The best way to command troops in battle is by selecting their troop type, then clicking and dragging on the screen in whatever position you want them to be in. Keep a bunch of extra pack animals in your party to increase your weight capacity and move speed. You can use horses which is good for upgrading cavalry but oxen and mules/sumpter horses are cheaper. Lock whatever items you want to keep in your inventory by clicking the circle on the right of the item to lock it, if you lock all your food, pack animals, and any gear you want to save you can unload your entire inventory at the shops in a single click by hitting the double arrow at the top middle. Hold alt while in battle to show the position and numbers of enemy troops. In your party screen you can easily level up troops or take on prisoners with the two buttons in the top right, above the button that says custom. The best way to increase your party size early on is by leveling up your clan, which you get by gaining renown from winning battles and especially from doing quests. Check every literally EVERY single city that you move past for companions to take on, either by entering the taverns or by looking at the portraits at the top. The ones to really look out for are ones with high surgery, scouting, stewardship, and later on engineering. After hiring them you have to assign them to their job on the clan screen. There's a way to view their stats before hiring them but it's been a while since I've played, I think you just click on them while in dialogue with them. Your riding skill will level up very quickly by making more difficult shots which will make you more accurate on horseback. Try to shoot at big blobs of infantry while far away or shoot from close range while riding at full speed. Turn off those stupid directional arrows! And I don't think anyone would fault you for turning damage to self to 1/4, just think of yourself as a hero unit. I have 2000 hours in Warband and 250 in Bannerlord and that's pretty much what I've always used. It's more fun when you can play recklessly and become your own legendary lord.
All super great tips, but I would argue that the companion tip doesn't really translate well into this mod as there are no "general" companions here but set character classes (wizard, waywatcher, witch hunter, glade captain, necromancer, etc.) so you should pick it based on that rather than specific skills.
@Turin I havent watched all the way through, but the mod page has a quick fix to get the shaders mostly compiled MUCH quicker by deleting the shaderfile they designate prior to loading
(Gimli voice) Yeees!!!! I member you and the boys, back in the day, doing the MP battles. They were so badass. Felkon with the "they should fear ME!" Y'all were hilarious.
I've watched almost everything you've put out for the last 6 years or so, I've never been more excited for you to play a game than I am right now, keep playing this, or it will go in the book of grudges. Let us train you, our apprentice
Eonir are somewhere between high and wood elves, high elves that remained in the old world and didn't have the influence of a magic forest like Lorien to change them so drastically. You can get both high and dark elf troops playing as them but it's pretty hard to get them and they aren't really worth the effort it takes to get them.
have fun and best of luck with this man, hope you do a couple more streams on this over time. Lionheart is a top bloke too. Some assets in this mod are so good that at our weekly meeting last week our (indi) game dev team were talking about licensing some of them! were looking into it. (the houses in case your curious - 16th century suits us perfectly)
as you are a stremer - despite having a good rig you will want to press that 'compile shaders' button on the main menu. It will speed up frame rate and game play hugely. As a game dev - and modder of many years.. compile shaders is the bane of my existence! To quote a mate.. "are you near an aeroplane?".. me "no thats the noise my pc makes when compiling shaders".

This is also me!
Me realizing that 2020 is now "back in the day"
Pretty sure Steven VonSeagal just found the hat on his way back from the pub and declared himself a Witch Hunter.
found the road cone*

I laughed so hard at 1:00:08
“I need to get my shield out shit-“😂😂😂
A distinctly ignoble end 😂
As someone who has never seen or heard of this mod - that was incredible
I hope Turin streams more of this
Turin + Old Realms = Fantastic time!
Such a sick mod - looking forward to seeing more of it! Thanks for the great content as always
"Come on Steven VonSeagal it is time for you to carry this" literally dies two seconds later. Masterful scriptwriting

This was fricken amazing. MORE PLEASE!
This was great! Please stream more of it. 🙏
Great to see some MnB, wish i had watched live.
@Turin I havent watched all the way through, but the mod page has a quick fix to get the shaders mostly compiled MUCH quicker by deleting the shaderfile they designate prior to loading
So excited to see the return of Warhammer modded Mount and Blade, can't wait to watch the heck out of this and (hopefully) future videos!
This was SUPER fun stream, didnt think I would enjoy it this much.
I need more of this, Nurgle has been overly generous and this helps
DEFINETLY do more like this dude
So happy you’re streaming more bannerlord
This is a flashback, and a bloody good one!!!
I love how you kept his hands tiny. 😂 he's like a freaky, hideous carnie!!
Omg so glad to see Turin playing this!!!
I want more of this!!! This is so cool and I laughed so hard at so much stuff!
Can't believe I missed this gloriousness
Guess I'll have to reinstall the game, this looks like a lot of fun!
(Gimli voice) Yeees!!!! I member you and the boys, back in the day, doing the MP battles. They were so badass. Felkon with the "they should fear ME!" Y'all were hilarious.
You can select all groups by pressing a key that isn't bound to one, like 6 for example will select all
This is so cool! So fun watching you play this mod. Good times, man, good times! Can't wait to see more.
That last fight with Chaos was just Turin roleplaying the old Mark of Chaos cinematic.
I loved it. Downloading now!
great to see you play bannerlord again! I'm looking forward to more
Dude how cool is this! I have Bannerlord, going to install this mod. Love your content thanks for playing!
I've watched almost everything you've put out for the last 6 years or so, I've never been more excited for you to play a game than I am right now, keep playing this, or it will go in the book of grudges. Let us train you, our apprentice

Love that you're playing bannerlord again. Top tier memes
Eonir are a mix of high elves and wood elves, they have the cityborn which are high elf like and the forestborn which are wood elf like
Man I don't often laugh out loud at a video these days, but when you got conked on the head that first time I was dying.
-> Builds ItalianSpartacus
-> Look how stupid we look
🤣
Turin’s single player arc??
This is hype city! Would love to see more
have fun and best of luck with this man, hope you do a couple more streams on this over time. Lionheart is a top bloke too.

This mod is golden, I might just try it
That "ayyayai" at 2:15:45 was so Polish.
I'm immensely disappointed that we're not taking VonSeagal to the finish line. You have dishonoured Sigmar.
Von Seagal would definitely end up falling to chaos. I got an offer to look the other way by a nurgle cultist and he gave me +20 Max HP
This is what i was waiting to buy bannerlord for
Great stream!
would love to see more of these
the poor pony Steven VonSeagal is riding
How difficult was it to set up the mod and did you do it through nexus hub or steam
Steam
Its not difficult, but I would read the fix as far as loading the shaders. It saved me a lot of time, and I am not very savvy.

mod looks great.
downloading atm :D
funny af :D
How do you get this mod to work. I did everything as instucted on the stema page and crash every time
Yes to more of these!!
This needs to be a series until you topple Mannfred von Baldstein
You hit the cast button (default q) and click. Thats it
I can’t for the life of me find the discord link?
please do more streams of old realms

Thicchunter
So haggered love it
More of this 🎉
Brother has the patience of a zoomer ahahah
Such a shame vanilla bannerlord was such a giant steamy disappointing turd. Thank God for mods
Thiccmar...

It gets easier as I learn the game, skip to episode 3!
