- There are many people who converted to Catholicism because of G.K. Chesterton. Each story is unique, but Robert Asch’s may be the most surprising. Robert was an Reform Jew who was devout and highly educated in his faith. He converted after reading Chesterton. He even went on to cofound the St. Austin Review with Joseph Pearce. What was it that Chesterton said? Listen to Robert's story on this episode of Uncommon Sense.

A superb discussion. You'll have to get Robert on again.
What an amazing testimony to the need to know our faith and it’s relationship to Judaism better.
Due to living and working in an Islamic community, I have read the Quran. You will find the first half very similar to the NT and the second half similar to the OT. You will read that Khadijah, Mohamed’s wife is referred to as the finest woman (my words) and she corrects and says there is a woman greater than she and it is the mother of Issa (Jesus). Jesus is referred to more than Mohamed. It’s interesting to read if you have read the Bible because you will read many threads in the faith that have originated from the Bible. Reading it really made me see my Islamic brothers and sisters through the lineage of Ishmael through Abraham.
