- The Dallas Card Show was AMAZING! I know every time I go to a show, people always ask what did I pay and are looking for insight as to why. This time in Dallas, I made sure to track it all (hence the title). Overall, I picked up some really cool items. There is a trade off with setting up vs walking around. I think setting up you see some cooler stuff as people walking around come up to your table, whereas when you're not setting up you can dig through more boxes looking for deals, which is what I did this time. I'm already looking forward to going back in March and hope to meet many of you there. Thanks to everyone who came up to me this time and introduced themselves. It was a pleasure getting to meet so many of you!

Hit it right on with the 90 Hoops Mark Jackson. One of the easiest cards to move. Sold a lot of 12 for $72 a few months back. Absolute steal for a $1!

Thank you for sharing the prices. It adds so much to watching this than you know. If we ever wanted to buy something from you, we don't care if you bought it low. You have to make money like everyone and run your business. I feel that's why so many people don't share pricing and it's annoying.

Another awesome batch of cards picked up by Ryan. These are the videos I enjoyed most. I love seeing that you can do so much with so little. As Ryan explains, dollar cards can multiply in value. And over the course of buying them several times, you can grow. I thrive on dollar or value boxes at my LCS. Hopefully i get to do it at a local show coming up this month.

You’re in a great spot for selling local stuff...Ohio state, browns, Indians, bluejackets, bengals, reds, Cavs. Could probably do well even if you only sold local teams!

I found that same lebron super stars insert (but numbered to 99) stashed away in my brothers collection and I bought it from him😂. Wasn’t stored the best and he’s not as big into collecting as me but still cool to find it

Can u find lots like the first one at every card show? the lot that was $1 and .25 per. Or was this just one of a kind
Lots of shows have stuff like this. A lot of people with tables at shows have $1 boxes and if you put in the time to search through them you can find gems
I've talked with several dealers at shows that love selling that lower end stuff. It'll be the "throw-in" type of cards from collection buys they might make, or just the lower end stuff from case breaks and they can pay for their table at a show pretty quick selling through a box like that. They'll also take a $1 box, sell through it for a few days and what's left becomes their new $.50 box at their next show.
@@ryanfitzgerald2816 to expand on this, I’ve found that a lot of sellers will discount stuff in $1/.50/.25 boxes if you’re buying multiples. Pick out 15 cards and ask if he’ll take $10 for all of them. Works 9/10 times

I like the Jordan Love pickups. I think he'll get his chance in the next 1-2 years and his non-higher end cards I think are still very underpriced right now.
You can also always get those 2nd through 5th year Brady cards graded if they're in mint condition and really make a profit. Can't go wrong at all at a quarter apiece.

I see a lot of heavy cards on that heavy table in the background, trust me, you need to put legs or some kind of support under that table, as an engineer I know those metal brackets are at there braking point.

@@TwoPyramid I think he sells them at his shop via cc so he would prob want to put down that he purchased them for x amount, since cc sales are taxable. Am I missing something?

The only thing I can think of is that he would have to write everything down and report his cost of goods sold on the honor system. Maybe he fudges the number based on a guesstimate.
I text myself pictures of what I bought and what I paid. At the end of the show, I can add up what I spent and that is added to monthly numbers. Not super complicated

Awesome video man!! I really appreciate your videos and im huge into NFL and you know your NFL so that's awesome. Your right about Mahomes hes gonna beat Brady and crush every record in the NFL. Im not even a mahomes fan but I can't deny how good he really is i dont think I've ever seen a QB make it look as easy as he does. I also think getting peyton Mannings is super smart hes prolly 2nd best to mahomes I've ever seen. Brady been in 10 super bowls but will never convince me hes better then mahomes or Manning I know he gets the wins but Im a huge chargers fan and i feared playing against Manning and Mahomes a lot worse then I did against Brady.... Just curious, if you don't have an actual shop where do you sell these? Like if paid $1 and worth $4, is Ebay not an option with fee's and such? Sell locally?
eBay fees are only 10%. Ask buyer to cover shipping so you’re not out of pocket there. You can also do lots. Team or player lots work well. For instance the Wilson chromes i bought would be good lot cards to list together. Good luck!
