Award-winning short film from writer/director/producer Jessica Smith, producer January Jones and cinematographer Sky Davies.
Synopsis:
For couple Jo (Michala Banas) and Sarah (Christie Whelan Browne) to be able to take the next big step in their life together, one of them needs a test that could not only put an end to their plans, but perhaps even their relationship. Tensions run high in the medical clinic as they await the results.
Also starring Jing-Xuan Chan, Scarlett Koehne and Mackenzie Randall.

Fun fact: when I first got my cat my body had a REALLY bad reaction. My eyes were streaming and bloodshot, I had rashes, and was sneezing like crazy. I cried because I thought I was allergic and would have to take him back. But it turns out that some people have that reaction the first few days, and then their bodies adjust. I've had my cat for years now and I love him to death. Never give up on your dreams!!!

Great stuff!! Loved the reveal! One question: Why would only Sara get tested, and not both of them? I don't get to watch a lot of Aussie films, so it was a special treat to see Ms. Banas' name as Jo. She was Kate Manfredi, my favorite non-daughter character from "MacLeod's Daughters"!! Loved her in that, and in this!

Sara was the only one tested because she was already pregnant. What I've known is that is not ok to have cat's allergy during pregnancy, it's not ok either for the mother or for the child and you need to be tested if you have a cat around in the few first weeks.

4:24 I believe I've listened to enough Australians at this point to inquire how one would spell "don't" here. In the southern US, an annoyed woman will pronounce the word "no" with 6 syllables, and I've yet to determine how to spell it. It makes me giggle to hear the tone of annoyance add syllables to a one-syllable word across the globe. ☺

you what gave me the clue for the plot twist, the music lol, I was thinking to myself "they wouldn't be playing something like that if it was gonna be something serious" and than I also thought "wouldn't it be funny if she trying to know if shes allergic to pets?!" and I got it right, and had such a laugh at the second plot twist, this was great.

Cute. Actually it is possible to overcome cat allergy, for some people at least. I was allergic to cats when I adopted my Cat Emily. It was rough for a few weeks, but then I got over it.
