You did an amazing review. We stayed at Le Blanc for 7 days in Aug 2022 and are going back in June 2023. You are on point with everything especially this being a resort to basically relax and enjoy the peace, haha. I'm not a social butterfly and lovvvvve all the peace there. One thing I will mention is that when you stay at Le Blanc, you can still visit the other Palace Resorts for food, entertainment etc for free- you just have to pay for transportation Also, if you go to the resort with the golf course to play golf, they will give you a room for free to use for the day (before and after to clean up etc.) Anyways, hope this helps!
I just booked for my hubby and I. We’re introverted and run a small business. Haven’t had a day off since April. I’m really hoping this is going to help relieve some of the stress we have had and just enjoy life! This will be his first time flying and leaving the US. I hope I picked the right resort 😏
We stayed at le Blanc for 3 days for our honeymoon and we had a beach view!! It was AMAZING! our tub faced the water! It was like looking at a post card ❤ I agree! This resort is very low key and quiet. Not a party resort, not much entertainment. It’s pure relaxation. We stayed here for 3 nights after our wedding and we REALLY got to relax while being treated like royalty! We then left to xcaret resort where the fun began!! Most amazing trip ever 🎉
Yes and No. no if you want a bigger room with some cool features like a swimout or two story. Yes if you just want good food and relax. I personally think there are better options out there. We just got back from Sanctuary Cap Cana in DR. Wow factor in the property and rooms but food isn’t as good
@@3Days3Noches ah gotcha! we are looking for the beaches like this with the waves. we are also from the east coast new england area and that's all we are used to. We are supposed to go in October any suggestions elsewhere in Cancún. big needs are adult only, all inclusive, swimmable beach (preferably that pretty turquoise color) and good food and drink. your videos have been very helpful!
Great review!! My wife and I had our honeymoon there and went back for our first anniversary. This is not a place to go for tres noches LOL, the food is the best, I had Wagyu at the asian restaurant, the Italian is our favorite and the french is awesome as well. The staff is from another world, one of the cooks even gave me the recipe of one of the dishes I liked. Once you go to LB you won't see other resorts the same.

Thank you for your review, not just of this resort but the others as well. I am planning on taking a trip in October-November 2023 and was wondering what resort would you recommend in Mexico, Jamaica or DR. I noticed from your reviews our taste are very similar in what we look for in a resort. The pool options, the pool activities (not boring or too quiet), decent food options (I think lunch is important as well), I like to enjoy the beach (I know perfection is not always available, but still want to enjoy it a little bit, etc. I was following another travel reviewer but I think we have more in common and would love your recommendations and definitely look forward to more videos.

So far Excellence Playa Mujeres has been the best overall and Sun Palace we liked but it was hard to get seats at the pool and I don’t like the sales tactics. I haven’t been to Jamaica yet!!! We are going to DR again in April! Loved Majestic there. Depending on your price point too!
Thank you for such a in depth review, I’ve been thinking we might try a new place next year, but I just love Excellence Playa Murjeres we’ve been many times, going again next week and it just fits us, it’s so easy. Do you have Xcaret Mexico or Arté on your radar? I have been to both and LOVE them. I have Le Blanc Cancun booked for June and worried it will be to quiet. Went to Sun 6 years ago and thought it was to small and quiet lol. 🌴🇲🇽⛱️
Thanks for the overview. I was interested to hear what you would say. We spent 7 days at le Blanc Cancun in Feb 2022. It was our first time staying at a le Blanc. We’ve been going to Cancun since 2001, mostly to Palace Resorts. (Yes, we are members.) The food and the service were exceptional, the water was so beautiful to look at, our beach walks were always fun. I loved the hot tub, since I’m usually cold in the pool water anywhere we go. I’m an introvert, but still found the pool areas at le Blanc lacking for energy. It was too low-key for us. We talked to many people who would not stay anywhere else, so it really does depend upon what you’re looking for when you go on vacation. Would we go back to le Blanc? Probably not right now (in our mid 50’s), but maybe some day. We’re heading to Sun Palace soon and we’re looking forward to the more upbeat vibe.
We are leaving for this resort tomorrow very excited. Do you remember if the pools were heated/warm. Weve been to places in the winter where the pools were very chilly. Also, is there any nightlife close to the resort that is well protected and safe for tourists
Hi! The pools were not heated but the sun warms them up some. I think that’s why not many people go to the wellness pool. In the video I reference going to the Hotel Zone nightlife. I’ve heard Rosa Negra is a lot of fun and safe too. Have a great time
Just found your channel deciding between Le Blanc and Secrets (not even sure which on..Moxche or Akumel maybe in a preferred room) for my son's honeymoon. I know Le Blanc is a home room, but how would you compare it to the Secrets resorts in Preferred Club or any other resort you might recommend for a honeymoon. Not big partyers, just want a nice beach and to relax.
Thank you for watching! Secrets has better room categories like swim ups etc which I think are better for a honeymoon. That’s my personal opinion. Le Blanc rooms are smaller and some don’t have balconies and if I were a honeymooner I’d want to spend some time in a nice room with an outside space and private pool
@3 Days 3 Noches, help needed. So I would like a 2 week holiday in Mexico again, and my trip would be planed for Nov 23. What it is I can't decide on which resort I should consider going to, and I have to say after watching some of your TH-cam video, not only is it compelling viewing looking at your body, but your reviews appear to be absolutely hands down the best that I have personally come across. So if I can give you a brief synopsis on what first of all I would potentially like staying at a resort. 1. An array of restaurants to choose from at the resort. 2. Rooms that have sea/lagoon or water views (not pool view) as well as a decent size balcony. 3. When in your room/suite there's no external noises coming through. 4. Several spacious pools, so getting a spot to lay down doesn't require getting up early to get a sun lounger. 5. A decent gym would be fantastic also, like what they have at the The Grand Moon Palace would be advantageous, but from looking at TH-cam videos this does seem rare. 6. A decent beach area which hasn't got seaweed washed up as well as the smell of it. 7. A large resort which offers free rides between their sister hotels if you want a change of scenery or want to try out different restaurants on a expansive scale, again like they have at The Moon Palace Resort. I've heard the The Moon Palace is an exception due to it's overall size, so this is not a dealbreaker. 8. A decent nightlife atmosphere, various areas in the resort to go to depending on your mood. Obviously adults only unless the resort is big enough you won’t be disturb by kids enjoying themselves. 9. A decent spa/massage at the resort. 10. Not extremely far from external shops, restaurants and nightlife so should you decide it's feasible to get to and get back to your resort, like 5th Avenue location but it doesn't have to be just that one of course. So here are now my list of resorts compiled from comments on TripAdvisor. If I could reduce it down to 3, 2 or even the just the one that would be great. Secrets Akumal Riviera Maya Secrets Maroma Beach Riviera Grand Velas Le Blanc Cancun Hotel Xcaret unico 2087 Secrets Moxche Excellence Playa Mujeres Iberostar Grand Paraiso I did stay at the Moon Palace Resort in December 2019 which was my second time at staying there, the first was in 2001 I think it was. I didn't find the second stay as nice as the first and I paid over £5,500 pp for that, I kinda don't want that to happen again🙂. I was staying at the Nizuc in one of the ambassador suite where on reflection it wasn't really necessary to have gone for that upgrade, but the view from the balcony I thought was great. I think that about covers it. Anything you more you need to know from my side to help with your suggestion please just say. Thanks in advance.

Are there shows or anything at night? We are considering for our honeymoon in July, and I’m worried that 5 days may seem a little dull if there isn’t much to do besides fitness or the pool. Any advice? Thank you I’m advance
They do have some shows. We didn’t go to any if you download the Le Blanc app it tells you which ones. We went to karaoke only! I personally was bored there
We are debating between this one and Excellence Playa Mujeres....what are your thoughts? It seems Leblanc is more modern, but we have more room and amenities at EPM
We liked EPM better because it had the theme parties at night and the two story rooftop suites. Even though it was a little more dated etc. Le Blanc had the better beach because we like to swim a lot in the ocean and prefer the waves. Also LB is in the hotel zone so easy to go off the resort. But still prefer EPM because the people were more laid back and fun. Just depends what your must haves are etc. if you just care about total relaxation and luxury then LB might be better
I do have a question. We booked 7 nights through a timeshare exchange company. We have a studio. I asked the resort if it was possible to upgrade and they told me that it was based on availability at the time. I got it when you said that you saw on the website that there was availability, and that they offered it to you then. I don;'t know your experience with timeshare, but I'm wondering if we might be able to expect an upgrade at check in if we agree to listen to the membership talk? Also, the all-inclusive calculator said that all gratuities are included, but you talked about the importance of tipping. Has something changed? SHould I expect to tip everyone? Are they expecting me to?
Hi! Thanks for watching. They won’t offer you an upgrade but if you haggle a bit they will offer Universal Credits which you could apply to an upgrade. Hi I’m not familiar with the all inclusive calculator! Usually gratuities are not included but maybe you got a special package? I don’t think anyone expected tips. But always appreciated it! Even a little is appreciated
How would you compare the beach water quality at Le Blanc Cancun to Excellence Playa Mujeres. We're leaning towards Excellence for our honeymoon, but the water looks dingy compared to the hotel zone.

I think during the day definitely! You could go shopping etc. But to the clubs at night I personally would not. Some of the restaurants like THAI and Rosa Negra would be good at night. If Nacho and his team are free we pay him to take us! Good for you exploring on your own!!

We are looking for something like that with that type of service and food. However, the entertainment was ok, we loved the entertainment at Secrets Capri in Mexico. Omg thank you so much! That means a lot especially coming from someone who travels a lot! We are on the search for that resort too lol. But Excellence Playa Mujeres was great and had fun nightlife but not too crazy. I think they are going under some renovations now too! I think Secrets would be a good choice. Hopefully trying them soon!!
There isn't all that much of a night life at Le Blanc, but they will keep the bars open at night until around 1 or 2 am as long as there are people hanging out and partying, otherwise they'll shut it all down when the last person leaves even if it's at 10:30. If you really need to party at night, you are only 1km away (a $10 taxi ride, or a 50 cent bus trip) from the big clubs like Coco Bongo and Mandala.
Hi, My boyfriend and I are considering this resort. We usually go to the Ritz Carlton, but since it has changed brands, we decided to try something new. However, we are really nervous after reading the reviews. It seems as a non-member you really aren't treated that great, for example, can't get dinner reservations or seats by the pool. I was wondering if you can give any insight on the treatment of non-members. The Ritz Carlton had the absolute best service of any hotel we have ever been to and we don't want to be treated poorly or less than on our vacation. I think you said you were a member so maybe you can't help, but any insight on this would be appreciated.
Hi!! I’ve never been to a Ritz C but I’ve heard their service is unmatched. So you might be disappointed anywhere else lol! We are members but the very bottom tier! I didn’t feel that we were treated differently in anyway but Diamond members def get perks like dinner reservations and saving seats etc. we never sat by the pool because we are beach people. The beach service was outstanding and never had an issue getting a seat. But the whole goal of the palace resorts is that you will become a member! That’s definitely one of the downsides. Who wants a sales pitch when you’ve just arrived?? But it’s much better at Le Blanc than other Palace resorts. They def tone down the sales pitchiness lol. I heard Kempenski has a great reputation though in Europe and other places. I also heard Club Med is amazing and Unico but don’t have as nice of beaches.

We stayed at the Kempinski in Tel Aviv and it didn't come close to the service of the Ritz. But I think we are going to give the Kempinski in Cancun a try. Hi! My partner and I are going to Cancun in Sept for my 50th. We are Elite members, but never stayed at Sun Palace or Le Blanc, so we are trying to decide which one to stay in. I love quiet and the spa, but like to watch shows and attend events. My partner doesn't like the spa much, and loves pool volleyball or beach volleyball. Do they have these? Thank you!!
Le Blanc has Volleyball at the activities pool which is on the other side but no one is there. You might like Sun Palace better. But there’s not nearly enough seats at the pool and the food is better at Le Blanc. I think if you stay at Le Blanc you can go to Sun Palace for the day
@@3Days3Noches thank you! I was there this past 4th of July with friends and then family. Although we are already members, we did a presentation at Le Blanc. My partner and I visited sun palace for dinner and I have to say, it was underwhelming. I couldn’t tell where the rest of the resort was. We went to aurora and the food was just okay. We also went in to the bar and …. I don’t know. Vibe was a little odd. It’s too bad that Le Blanc didn’t have anyone playing pool volleyball. And that it’s too quiet but the resort is beautiful and we ate at at Terraza and it was so good. I just don’t know if it’s worth $1000 more for the stay
@@3Days3Noches It's sad when a member can't choose a "solid" adults only palace resort. I would stay at the Grand, but that place is chaotic for a trip without family, and no view of the beach. And you can't really swim in the beach. Is the Excellence the one in Playa Mujeres? It's about the same price as Le Blanc Cancun with my membership discount.
My cousin and I were at the Los Cabos location last year. The food and service were phenomenal. The resort was stunning. But, we had the same critique about the lack of entertainment. We like the R&R, but want an upbeat option. Heading to Atelier Playa Mujeres this year for half the price, but from what I hear, a comparable experience, but with more going on.
I know!! Would have been perfect. We haven’t been there yet! We went to Excellence and it was half the cost and would choose that over Le Blanc because it was more fun
We actually have a booking there but we were debating whether we should keep it or change to another location. We can do that until next week. We will be celebrating our anniversary and we booked a honeymoon suite. I don't like the fact that the spa is not mixte and I'd prefer a place with a more active vibe but not too much. Good food, nice spa, nice location and adult-only are the main reasons we booked there. Would you recommend a different place in Cancun or Jamaica? Excellence is not offered by our travel company but Sandals resorts are! Thank you in advance
I don’t know too much about Sandals resorts! Have you looked into secrets? I haven’t been some of those look fun and nice. It’s so hard bc there’s so many to choose from! Also the food at all Inclusives are usually like a 7 or 8 out of 10 Maybe your travel company can suggest? This place was great but too boring for me

Wow!!! Le Blanc is supposed to be way more than Secrets so you must have gotten a great deal!! To the right of the hotel is the hotel zone nightlife but also look into These restaurants off site. Rosa Negra , Thai, confessions, Navios and during the day shopping at Isla which is a few minutes away
I’m not American so when I saw a resort that says all inclusive “gratuities are included and additional gratuities at guests’ discretion are accepted”, you still have to tip?!
It’s hard to compare because the price is so different! But if you are talking food, Le Blanc is a little bit better in their presentation etc. we prefer Excellence though because it was more fun
Just reached out to the resort and they are telling me they don’t include airport pick up and drop off service. They informed me I would have to pay an additional fee for this service. This seems a bit sketchy as it seems based on your video, this service should be included.

Thanks for watching. Did you see our video in Sanctuary in Cap Cana?? If not check those out. So far it has the biggest wow factor for us! The beach is small but I liked it. Also had an amazing butler service at the Castle section. Some people prefer a bigger beach. Excellence Playa Mujeres is also great but I think they are going under renovations now.

Awesome review of the resort, I've been to cancun many times, stayed at riu palace peninsula, then stayed at hyatt ziva, I've been at hyatt ziva atleast 3 to 4 times in the turquoise towers, now to ME that place is awesome, as far as party vibe they have it, the spa was amazing, I like how you can rent a cabana bed all around the pool an beach area, the food was a 7 out of 10, the staff was great, only thing now is I wanna try something different so I pulled the trigger on this one leblanc, I got the governor suite for more room and space , $$$$ , I don't mind the relaxation part, im jus curious about the pool seats being taken up , I like sitting by the pool, aswell as the beach area, I'll be there in July so I'll definitely give you my opinion when we get back, also I was thinking about leblanc in cabo, their governor suite is about 200 bucks more then cancun, not to mention its not a direct flight from Philly, we been to cabo stayed at hyatt ziva, huge resort rooms were awesome, they always partied (you'll love it lol), but I give it 7 out of 10 it can be a hit or miss at times, the marina is where the action is, 40 dollar cab ride to an from. I was thinking about excellence in playa mujeres BUT I am a magnet for mosquitos 🦟, I was at the sunset palace years ago , I had on off spray deep woods an the mosquitos were drinking that like Coca-Cola, tore me up, so excellence for ME is a no go unfortunately, not only that but from your review there about the bathroom uuuh that's a miss for me lol..if you get a chance to make it to Jamaica before we do try out the oyster bay resort in montego I'm looking at their videos an saying OMG I might have made a bad choice in resorts, beautiful resort!!!!!!! Only thing, when we travel we travel in July, an last time we were in Jamaica we stayed at sandals southcoast in the bungalows, spacious resort, but we came back darker then car tires hot hot 🔥 🥵 an I had a sunburn on my noise that took a yr for it to go away, im noticing when I see the video of oyster bay people went in the fall time an around December that's why it looked so empty, okay sorry for the long Bible I got carried away, thank you again so much for sharing an being honest an very detailed in your review of leblanc, will let you know how we made out.....thanks again!

Gov suite, how about I booked it Feb 28th 2023 an they CHARGED my Amex card the FULL amount $$$ , my ? Is , is that even normal? I've been to cancun plenty of times an the different hotels gives you all the way up to 24 hrs to cancel if need be, but I'm 4 months out , anything could happen, soooo? If anything happens like oooh I dunno a death in the family or natural disaster between now an July I'm out $$$???? Jus like that? An they have a no cancelation an no refund policy, im scratching my head wondering is this normal behavior? You tell me

I'm still going ahead with the trip, I jus don't like their ethics, hopefully we will have a great time, but thank you for the heads up on that time share they be pushing, im like "great, another shark tank " if you catch my drift. Also I'm concerned about the loungers being full in the summer, I probably be better off renting a cabana for a few days. I got the gov suite because I see that all other suites are kinda small, I like to have alil more room to walk around yanno? Also I called Amex who I booked the trip through an ran that scenario pass them just to get their opinion, the one guy told me that I'm not the 1st who experienced this type of ethic behavior, others complained like I did an they still went through with the vacay an they didn't call back with any problems, so I decided to just take this one as a learning experience an be positive an move forward an for future trips I'm going to inquire about hotels cancelation policies, an if any of them goes along with leblancs ethics then naaa ima pass. Thanks very informative video! While most of the reviews for this resort are very good I've read some comments regarding the palace membership. Non-members feel like they don't receive the same level of service from staff or half the pool area is blocked off members. I could certainly understand why members would enjoy some benefits, but interested if you noticed or heard of any complaints from non-members regarding their experience.

@@3Days3Noches Not sure I want to deal with the all the sales pitches / upgrades and then end up with a lesser non-member experience at this price point. Probably will look at other resorts which are more upfront about the cost (i.e. preferred room vs non-preferred).
@3 Days 3 Noches what I really like about Hyatt zilara booking is when you book ocean front it is truly an ocean front room with 360 degree views without any obstructions. If I recall in one of your vids (excellence maybe?) You had to switch rooms to get an ocean view. It makes me hesitant to get out of the zilara footprint if that makes sense.
Been to Le Blanc many times, the place is truly amazing, price has doubled over the last few years so it is now way overpriced. Was $7000 for two weeks, now it’s about $14,000 for two weeks, ouch.
@@3Days3Noches That's my only trepadation about Le Blanc. What about food wise? I know you said you aren't a foodie but i read iffy things about Beloved food.
Food will be better at Le Blanc but for me personally I’d rather have a better room. But that’s just me! Also I tend to eat a big breakfast and lunch and then a light dinner
We stayed December 2022 and we have been to this resort 3-4 times in the past. We’ve had a great experience but I will say, the most recent trip was pretty disappointing. We would walk out to the pool and there would be zero beach towels. They said they were waiting on some to arrive from a sister property. We had to go back to the room to grab bath towels. When they wanted us to upgrade our membership, we told them about the issues we experienced. The PR person was going to meet us in the lobby so when we arrived we couldn’t find him. Finally he arrived but didn’t offer anything to mitigate the issue. We also had issues where they wouldn’t schedule us dinner reservations even though the restaurants were nearly empty. They also used to walk you to your pool chair, lay out your towel and make a pillow, put up/down the umbrella and automatically bring water but the last time we sat by the pool for several HOURS and no one even acknowledged us so we left for the day. I remember the 2018 years where the resort was truly 5 star! And I wish it would return to that.

It really depends on what you mean by party! Also just in Cancun or Riviera Maya? Unico is supposed to be nice and fun. We liked Excellence Playa Mujeres which wasn’t crazy party but fun. But they are going under renovations. Also there’s always places like Temptations.
Thinking about going in June. My wife has been there for a wedding and said I MUST CHECK OT OUT! I'm a picky drinker tho...was the tequila Top Shelf also...definitely not looking forward to drinking Jose queevo or Jimador

Plus, the food! No burgers, hot dogs, lol. But! You will need more than 3 days, lol. Xcaret mexico hotel is a family vibe Xcaret arte hotel is an adult vibe Xcaret casa de playa now that expensive one from all, you get your own butler, private transportation etc. You can use the other 2 resorts to visit and eat at their restaurants if you like. Parks are all included with all 3 hotels. You can do Xcaret park (1 day), xenses/xplor (same day). As for the others parks, they will need reservation. In my option lol you won't go back to cancun lol
I’m convinced, this Karen doesn’t know what she likes. Too many plugs for other resorts. Doesn’t eat meat but orders pepperoni pizza…mariachi, singers and her dancing skills shown but not “lively” enough…everything’s either a 9 or a 10, “amazing and wonderful” but everything’s also has issues or critiqued. Not a “foodie” but reviewing restaurants. No premium tequilas but shows a Clase Azul bottle….says “stick with me” like 3-4times…why? Calls the resort “Le Blank” and not Le Blanc. ..and wouldn’t 3days 2nights make more sense? All love, but now I have more questions than answers. I knew the initial question, “is it worth it” would have your answer. The answers is, “it depends”. …omg. An honest review of a review. #cheers
Great points!!! The honest answer is that it does depend on the person! I’ve learned everyone likes different things when they travel! Which is fine! We all have a right to vacation the way we want. @@3Days3Noches I do agree with your assessment of the place- not much going on. Nice small hotel vibe. The service is great as is the food but we will not be back. Prefer something larger, a little more “party”, lush gardens, flowers…. None of that here.
The resort offered top tier services throughout my stay, until I was approached by one of Le Blanc sale associates when checking out. The sale associates scammed me into a vacation package for a total of 1280.00 plus resort credits for 5 days and 4 nights with no additional fees. This offer was valid if I paid an extra 200.00 that day. And of course, I did! However, it turned out the sale associate lied, and I was emailed a different term and agreement than what the fraudulent sale associate told me. Of course, I talked to countless customer service representatives about this issue. However, there was one customer service representative spoke to me in an offensive manner. This experience violates my trust in this resort. I know this comment will not make a difference with me getting a refund or the vacation package I was offered. Hopefully, it will prevent someone else from being scammed.

You did an amazing review. We stayed at Le Blanc for 7 days in Aug 2022 and are going back in June 2023. You are on point with everything especially this being a resort to basically relax and enjoy the peace, haha. I'm not a social butterfly and lovvvvve all the peace there. One thing I will mention is that when you stay at Le Blanc, you can still visit the other Palace Resorts for food, entertainment etc for free- you just have to pay for transportation Also, if you go to the resort with the golf course to play golf, they will give you a room for free to use for the day (before and after to clean up etc.) Anyways, hope this helps!

We stayed at le Blanc for 3 days for our honeymoon and we had a beach view!! It was AMAZING! our tub faced the water! It was like looking at a post card ❤
I agree! This resort is very low key and quiet. Not a party resort, not much entertainment. It’s pure relaxation. We stayed here for 3 nights after our wedding and we REALLY got to relax while being treated like royalty! We then left to xcaret resort where the fun began!! Most amazing trip ever 🎉

Yes and No. no if you want a bigger room with some cool features like a swimout or two story. Yes if you just want good food and relax. I personally think there are better options out there. We just got back from Sanctuary Cap Cana in DR. Wow factor in the property and rooms but food isn’t as good

We are supposed to go in October any suggestions elsewhere in Cancún. big needs are adult only, all inclusive, swimmable beach (preferably that pretty turquoise color) and good food and drink. your videos have been very helpful!

Great review!! My wife and I had our honeymoon there and went back for our first anniversary. This is not a place to go for tres noches LOL, the food is the best, I had Wagyu at the asian restaurant, the Italian is our favorite and the french is awesome as well. The staff is from another world, one of the cooks even gave me the recipe of one of the dishes I liked.
Once you go to LB you won't see other resorts the same.

I am planning on taking a trip in October-November 2023 and was wondering what resort would you recommend in Mexico, Jamaica or DR. I noticed from your reviews our taste are very similar in what we look for in a resort. The pool options, the pool activities (not boring or too quiet), decent food options (I think lunch is important as well), I like to enjoy the beach (I know perfection is not always available, but still want to enjoy it a little bit, etc. I was following another travel reviewer but I think we have more in common and would love your recommendations and definitely look forward to more videos.

So far Excellence Playa Mujeres has been the best overall and Sun Palace we liked but it was hard to get seats at the pool and I don’t like the sales tactics. I haven’t been to Jamaica yet!!! We are going to DR again in April! Loved Majestic there. Depending on your price point too!

Thanks for the overview. I was interested to hear what you would say. We spent 7 days at le Blanc Cancun in Feb 2022. It was our first time staying at a le Blanc. We’ve been going to Cancun since 2001, mostly to Palace Resorts. (Yes, we are members.)
The food and the service were exceptional, the water was so beautiful to look at, our beach walks were always fun. I loved the hot tub, since I’m usually cold in the pool water anywhere we go. I’m an introvert, but still found the pool areas at le Blanc lacking for energy. It was too low-key for us. We talked to many people who would not stay anywhere else, so it really does depend upon what you’re looking for when you go on vacation.
Would we go back to le Blanc? Probably not right now (in our mid 50’s), but maybe some day. We’re heading to Sun Palace soon and we’re looking forward to the more upbeat vibe.

We are leaving for this resort tomorrow very excited. Do you remember if the pools were heated/warm. Weve been to places in the winter where the pools were very chilly. Also, is there any nightlife close to the resort that is well protected and safe for tourists
Hi! The pools were not heated but the sun warms them up some. I think that’s why not many people go to the wellness pool. In the video I reference going to the Hotel Zone nightlife. I’ve heard Rosa Negra is a lot of fun and safe too. Have a great time

Just found your channel deciding between Le Blanc and Secrets (not even sure which on..Moxche or Akumel maybe in a preferred room) for my son's honeymoon. I know Le Blanc is a home room, but how would you compare it to the Secrets resorts in Preferred Club or any other resort you might recommend for a honeymoon. Not big partyers, just want a nice beach and to relax.

Le Blanc rooms are smaller and some don’t have balconies and if I were a honeymooner I’d want to spend some time in a nice room with an outside space and private pool

@3 Days 3 Noches, help needed. So I would like a 2 week holiday in Mexico again, and my trip would be planed for Nov 23. What it is I can't decide on which resort I should consider going to, and I have to say after watching some of your TH-cam video, not only is it compelling viewing looking at your body, but your reviews appear to be absolutely hands down the best that I have personally come across.
So if I can give you a brief synopsis on what first of all I would potentially like staying at a resort.
1. An array of restaurants to choose from at the resort.
2. Rooms that have sea/lagoon or water views (not pool view) as well as a decent size balcony.
3. When in your room/suite there's no external noises coming through.
4. Several spacious pools, so getting a spot to lay down doesn't require getting up early to get a sun lounger.
5. A decent gym would be fantastic also, like what they have at the The Grand Moon Palace would be advantageous, but from looking at TH-cam videos this does seem rare.
6. A decent beach area which hasn't got seaweed washed up as well as the smell of it.
7. A large resort which offers free rides between their sister hotels if you want a change of scenery or want to try out different restaurants on a expansive scale, again like they have at The Moon Palace Resort. I've heard the The Moon Palace is an exception due to it's overall size, so this is not a dealbreaker.
8. A decent nightlife atmosphere, various areas in the resort to go to depending on your mood. Obviously adults only unless the resort is big enough you won’t be disturb by kids enjoying themselves.
9. A decent spa/massage at the resort.
10. Not extremely far from external shops, restaurants and nightlife so should you decide it's feasible to get to and get back to your resort, like 5th Avenue location but it doesn't have to be just that one of course.
So here are now my list of resorts compiled from comments on TripAdvisor. If I could reduce it down to 3, 2 or even the just the one that would be great.

I did stay at the Moon Palace Resort in December 2019 which was my second time at staying there, the first was in 2001 I think it was. I didn't find the second stay as nice as the first and I paid over £5,500 pp for that, I kinda don't want that to happen again🙂. I was staying at the Nizuc in one of the ambassador suite where on reflection it wasn't really necessary to have gone for that upgrade, but the view from the balcony I thought was great.
I think that about covers it. Anything you more you need to know from my side to help with your suggestion please just say.

They do have some shows. We didn’t go to any if you download the Le Blanc app it tells you which ones. We went to karaoke only! I personally was bored there

We liked EPM better because it had the theme parties at night and the two story rooftop suites. Even though it was a little more dated etc. Le Blanc had the better beach because we like to swim a lot in the ocean and prefer the waves. Also LB is in the hotel zone so easy to go off the resort. But still prefer EPM because the people were more laid back and fun. Just depends what your must haves are etc. if you just care about total relaxation and luxury then LB might be better

I do have a question. We booked 7 nights through a timeshare exchange company. We have a studio. I asked the resort if it was possible to upgrade and they told me that it was based on availability at the time. I got it when you said that you saw on the website that there was availability, and that they offered it to you then. I don;'t know your experience with timeshare, but I'm wondering if we might be able to expect an upgrade at check in if we agree to listen to the membership talk? Also, the all-inclusive calculator said that all gratuities are included, but you talked about the importance of tipping. Has something changed? SHould I expect to tip everyone? Are they expecting me to?

How would you compare the beach water quality at Le Blanc Cancun to Excellence Playa Mujeres. We're leaning towards Excellence for our honeymoon, but the water looks dingy compared to the hotel zone.
Le Blanc and Hotel Zone in general have better beaches. But EPM during Jan-March has amazing beaches
Great video as always! Question for you: do you find that you get a full vacation experience by only staying for 3 nights? I ask because I usually stay for 5 days/4 nights and wondered if I stayed for 3 I'd still enjoy myself. I usually stay on property and by pools/beach.

I think during the day definitely! You could go shopping etc. But to the clubs at night I personally would not. Some of the restaurants like THAI and Rosa Negra would be good at night. If Nacho and his team are free we pay him to take us! Good for you exploring on your own!!
Hi! I have enjoyed your videos! So my wife and I love to travel, we have been around the world and one of our favorite resorts was Sanctuary Cap Cana DR. We are looking for something like that with that type of service and food. However, the entertainment was ok, we loved the entertainment at Secrets Capri in Mexico. Can you recommend a resort that has both? Thank you in advanced.
Omg thank you so much! That means a lot especially coming from someone who travels a lot! We are on the search for that resort too lol. But Excellence Playa Mujeres was great and had fun nightlife but not too crazy. I think they are going under some renovations now too! I think Secrets would be a good choice. Hopefully trying them soon!!

There isn't all that much of a night life at Le Blanc, but they will keep the bars open at night until around 1 or 2 am as long as there are people hanging out and partying, otherwise they'll shut it all down when the last person leaves even if it's at 10:30. If you really need to party at night, you are only 1km away (a $10 taxi ride, or a 50 cent bus trip) from the big clubs like Coco Bongo and Mandala.

Hi, My boyfriend and I are considering this resort. We usually go to the Ritz Carlton, but since it has changed brands, we decided to try something new. However, we are really nervous after reading the reviews. It seems as a non-member you really aren't treated that great, for example, can't get dinner reservations or seats by the pool. I was wondering if you can give any insight on the treatment of non-members. The Ritz Carlton had the absolute best service of any hotel we have ever been to and we don't want to be treated poorly or less than on our vacation. I think you said you were a member so maybe you can't help, but any insight on this would be appreciated.
Hi!! I’ve never been to a Ritz C but I’ve heard their service is unmatched. So you might be disappointed anywhere else lol! We are members but the very bottom tier! I didn’t feel that we were treated differently in anyway but Diamond members def get perks like dinner reservations and saving seats etc. we never sat by the pool because we are beach people. The beach service was outstanding and never had an issue getting a seat. But the whole goal of the palace resorts is that you will become a member! That’s definitely one of the downsides. Who wants a sales pitch when you’ve just arrived?? But it’s much better at Le Blanc than other Palace resorts. They def tone down the sales pitchiness lol. I heard Kempenski has a great reputation though in Europe and other places. I also heard Club Med is amazing and Unico but don’t have as nice of beaches.

Hi! My partner and I are going to Cancun in Sept for my 50th. We are Elite members, but never stayed at Sun Palace or Le Blanc, so we are trying to decide which one to stay in. I love quiet and the spa, but like to watch shows and attend events. My partner doesn't like the spa much, and loves pool volleyball or beach volleyball. Do they have these? Thank you!!
Le Blanc has Volleyball at the activities pool which is on the other side but no one is there. You might like Sun Palace better. But there’s not nearly enough seats at the pool and the food is better at Le Blanc. I think if you stay at Le Blanc you can go to Sun Palace for the day

My partner and I visited sun palace for dinner and I have to say, it was underwhelming. I couldn’t tell where the rest of the resort was. We went to aurora and the food was just okay. We also went in to the bar and …. I don’t know. Vibe was a little odd.
It’s too bad that Le Blanc didn’t have anyone playing pool volleyball. And that it’s too quiet but the resort is beautiful and we ate at at Terraza and it was so good. I just don’t know if it’s worth $1000 more for the stay

@@3Days3Noches It's sad when a member can't choose a "solid" adults only palace resort. I would stay at the Grand, but that place is chaotic for a trip without family, and no view of the beach. And you can't really swim in the beach. Is the Excellence the one in Playa Mujeres? It's about the same price as Le Blanc Cancun with my membership discount.

My cousin and I were at the Los Cabos location last year. The food and service were phenomenal. The resort was stunning. But, we had the same critique about the lack of entertainment. We like the R&R, but want an upbeat option. Heading to Atelier Playa Mujeres this year for half the price, but from what I hear, a comparable experience, but with more going on.
I know!! Would have been perfect. We haven’t been there yet! We went to Excellence and it was half the cost and would choose that over Le Blanc because it was more fun

We actually have a booking there but we were debating whether we should keep it or change to another location. We can do that until next week. We will be celebrating our anniversary and we booked a honeymoon suite. I don't like the fact that the spa is not mixte and I'd prefer a place with a more active vibe but not too much. Good food, nice spa, nice location and adult-only are the main reasons we booked there. Would you recommend a different place in Cancun or Jamaica? Excellence is not offered by our travel company but Sandals resorts are! Thank you in advance
I don’t know too much about Sandals resorts! Have you looked into secrets? I haven’t been some of those look fun and nice. It’s so hard bc there’s so many to choose from! Also the food at all Inclusives are usually like a 7 or 8 out of 10 Maybe your travel company can suggest? This place was great but too boring for me

Wow!!! Le Blanc is supposed to be way more than Secrets so you must have gotten a great deal!! To the right of the hotel is the hotel zone nightlife but also look into These restaurants off site. Rosa Negra , Thai, confessions, Navios and during the day shopping at Isla which is a few minutes away

It’s hard to compare because the price is so different! But if you are talking food, Le Blanc is a little bit better in their presentation etc. we prefer Excellence though because it was more fun
Just reached out to the resort and they are telling me they don’t include airport pick up and drop off service. They informed me I would have to pay an additional fee for this service. This seems a bit sketchy as it seems based on your video, this service should be included.

Thanks for watching. Did you see our video in Sanctuary in Cap Cana?? If not check those out. So far it has the biggest wow factor for us! The beach is small but I liked it. Also had an amazing butler service at the Castle section. Some people prefer a bigger beach. Excellence Playa Mujeres is also great but I think they are going under renovations now.

Awesome review of the resort, I've been to cancun many times, stayed at riu palace peninsula, then stayed at hyatt ziva, I've been at hyatt ziva atleast 3 to 4 times in the turquoise towers, now to ME that place is awesome, as far as party vibe they have it, the spa was amazing, I like how you can rent a cabana bed all around the pool an beach area, the food was a 7 out of 10, the staff was great, only thing now is I wanna try something different so I pulled the trigger on this one leblanc, I got the governor suite for more room and space , $$$$ , I don't mind the relaxation part, im jus curious about the pool seats being taken up , I like sitting by the pool, aswell as the beach area, I'll be there in July so I'll definitely give you my opinion when we get back, also I was thinking about leblanc in cabo, their governor suite is about 200 bucks more then cancun, not to mention its not a direct flight from Philly, we been to cabo stayed at hyatt ziva, huge resort rooms were awesome, they always partied (you'll love it lol), but I give it 7 out of 10 it can be a hit or miss at times, the marina is where the action is, 40 dollar cab ride to an from. I was thinking about excellence in playa mujeres BUT I am a magnet for mosquitos 🦟, I was at the sunset palace years ago , I had on off spray deep woods an the mosquitos were drinking that like Coca-Cola, tore me up, so excellence for ME is a no go unfortunately, not only that but from your review there about the bathroom uuuh that's a miss for me lol..if you get a chance to make it to Jamaica before we do try out the oyster bay resort in montego I'm looking at their videos an saying OMG I might have made a bad choice in resorts, beautiful resort!!!!!!! Only thing, when we travel we travel in July, an last time we were in Jamaica we stayed at sandals southcoast in the bungalows, spacious resort, but we came back darker then car tires hot hot 🔥 🥵 an I had a sunburn on my noise that took a yr for it to go away, im noticing when I see the video of oyster bay people went in the fall time an around December that's why it looked so empty, okay sorry for the long Bible I got carried away, thank you again so much for sharing an being honest an very detailed in your review of leblanc, will let you know how we made out.....thanks again!

Gov suite, how about I booked it Feb 28th 2023 an they CHARGED my Amex card the FULL amount $$$ , my ? Is , is that even normal? I've been to cancun plenty of times an the different hotels gives you all the way up to 24 hrs to cancel if need be, but I'm 4 months out , anything could happen, soooo? If anything happens like oooh I dunno a death in the family or natural disaster between now an July I'm out $$$???? Jus like that? An they have a no cancelation an no refund policy, im scratching my head wondering is this normal behavior? You tell me

Also I'm concerned about the loungers being full in the summer, I probably be better off renting a cabana for a few days. I got the gov suite because I see that all other suites are kinda small, I like to have alil more room to walk around yanno? Also I called Amex who I booked the trip through an ran that scenario pass them just to get their opinion, the one guy told me that I'm not the 1st who experienced this type of ethic behavior, others complained like I did an they still went through with the vacay an they didn't call back with any problems, so I decided to just take this one as a learning experience an be positive an move forward an for future trips I'm going to inquire about hotels cancelation policies, an if any of them goes along with leblancs ethics then naaa ima pass. Thanks very informative video! While most of the reviews for this resort are very good I've read some comments regarding the palace membership. Non-members feel like they don't receive the same level of service from staff or half the pool area is blocked off members. I could certainly understand why members would enjoy some benefits, but interested if you noticed or heard of any complaints from non-members regarding their experience.

I was very impressed with the service here!! Maybe if you are a Diamond member it’s even better but I can’t imagine how!!

@3 Days 3 Noches what I really like about Hyatt zilara booking is when you book ocean front it is truly an ocean front room with 360 degree views without any obstructions. If I recall in one of your vids (excellence maybe?) You had to switch rooms to get an ocean view. It makes me hesitant to get out of the zilara footprint if that makes sense.

Been to Le Blanc many times, the place is truly amazing, price has doubled over the last few years so it is now way overpriced. Was $7000 for two weeks, now it’s about $14,000 for two weeks, ouch.

We stayed December 2022 and we have been to this resort 3-4 times in the past. We’ve had a great experience but I will say, the most recent trip was pretty disappointing. We would walk out to the pool and there would be zero beach towels. They said they were waiting on some to arrive from a sister property. We had to go back to the room to grab bath towels. When they wanted us to upgrade our membership, we told them about the issues we experienced. The PR person was going to meet us in the lobby so when we arrived we couldn’t find him. Finally he arrived but didn’t offer anything to mitigate the issue. We also had issues where they wouldn’t schedule us dinner reservations even though the restaurants were nearly empty. They also used to walk you to your pool chair, lay out your towel and make a pillow, put up/down the umbrella and automatically bring water but the last time we sat by the pool for several HOURS and no one even acknowledged us so we left for the day. I remember the 2018 years where the resort was truly 5 star! And I wish it would return to that.

It really depends on what you mean by party! Also just in Cancun or Riviera Maya? Unico is supposed to be nice and fun. We liked Excellence Playa Mujeres which wasn’t crazy party but fun. But they are going under renovations. Also there’s always places like Temptations.

Xcaret casa de playa now that expensive one from all, you get your own butler, private transportation etc. You can use the other 2 resorts to visit and eat at their restaurants if you like.
Parks are all included with all 3 hotels.
You can do Xcaret park (1 day), xenses/xplor (same day). As for the others parks, they will need reservation.
In my option lol you won't go back to cancun lol

I’m convinced, this Karen doesn’t know what she likes. Too many plugs for other resorts. Doesn’t eat meat but orders pepperoni pizza…mariachi, singers and her dancing skills shown but not “lively” enough…everything’s either a 9 or a 10, “amazing and wonderful” but everything’s also has issues or critiqued.

The resort offered top tier services throughout my stay, until I was approached by one of Le Blanc sale associates when checking out.
The sale associates scammed me into a vacation package for a total of 1280.00 plus resort credits for 5 days and 4 nights with no additional fees. This offer was valid if I paid an extra 200.00 that day. And of course, I did!
However, it turned out the sale associate lied, and I was emailed a different term and agreement than what the fraudulent sale associate told me.
Of course, I talked to countless customer service representatives about this issue. However, there was one customer service representative spoke to me in an offensive manner.
This experience violates my trust in this resort. I know this comment will not make a difference with me getting a refund or the vacation package I was offered. Hopefully, it will prevent someone else from being scammed.
