It's good to have a sense of humor after spilling a little whisky.
My opinion is probably worth little, but I just tasted this for the first time and I loved it. I shared with other whisky drinkers and even the ones who don't normally go smokey loved it too.
I like this whisky a lot. I’ve tried a few more expensive bottlings that combine smokiness with sweeter notes, mostly from Islay, but I keep coming back to this one.
try out the Talisker Distiller's Edition (or the cheaper Talisker Port Ruighe)
It must be a little strong cos u guys seemed a bit tipsy at the end of the vid lol
I think Highland Park is on the wrong path. Low ABV 43.1%, no age statement, nothing about chill filtering or artificial coloring. A story about dragons and a fancy bottling which have nothing to do with the juice. I’d rather hear about whisky that I might buy.
well said
It's a special edition. All their standard bottlings are still there with their age statements, no colouring and so on.
All HP is minimum 10 years. All Oak is East Coast America and Southern Spain. Never use colourings, caramel or anything as previously stated
@@dnb55 thank you...very helpful comment. I've found this to be a very agreeable expression indeed... I pay no attention whatsoever to marketing. I just pay attention to my personal preferences.
@@holycannoli64 😎 No problem. I agree, all personal taste.
