Discipline is a Choice

It’s easy to say yes to a free doughnut, to a bite of a brownie, to just scroll a little bit more before you get started on that project, to just do a little more research by watching one more TH-cam video. Ah yes, distraction will always be the easy choice. Discipline is the hard choice. But it is a choice. And this video is about making that choice.

Thank you Ms. Maragh. I agree with your interpretation. It's similar to an opportunity cost. There is an unseen potential benefit to others that you may not know about unless you stay on the path of your passion or art. If you choose to veer from the path because you think it's unrealistic or choose to not overcome the barriers, then that potential is lost.

One day (sooner rather than later) I will be intent on picking up that guitar and playing it right. And yes, I made it when I was in high school. Unfortunately, it is now slowly rotting away in the backyard after being evicted from the giant doll house that once housed it.
