Feels so good to get outside the box. As an Irish dadgad guitar player, I enjoy pulling more harmonic variety into old time music , but it isn’t always met with much enthusiasm. Keep opening it up.
It's your opinion but compulsory mixing and deconstructing everything is not everyone's taste. You can throw some techno or rap into a Mozart piece, but the resulting in not classic music.
does anyone know the website to this festival? when i look it up a bunch of "cliftop music festivals" come up and i cant figure out which festival this is. or does anyone know where exactly it is?

It's an extension that allows you to go below the (usual) lowest note on the string. He also uses a different tuning than standard.
