Wow, 2023 was the most difficult year of my life so I completely relate to you right now. So much loss and grief, a death, a cross country move, financial/job and relationship challenges, AND a major surgery which officially diagnosed me with a chronic illness…it’s been A LOT. I didn’t paint at all last year. But I’m in the process of a new painting finally and starting it made me feel alive again. I want to prioritize art and expression this year. Thanks for your videos as they are helping to motivate me to keep going. 💓 I hope you have a better year in 2024 as well 🙏🏼

oh my gosh!! I hope the surgery went ok. any kind of diagnosis/illness is incredibly scary and i'm so sorry you've been struggling with that. I hope you're able to heal somewhat this year. Honestly we had very similar years in 2023. I also moved across country, job loss, pet death, family illness etc. so I am just sending you hugs because I know how hard its been for many of us 💟 sooo glad you're painting again too :) art is so healing, even if we can't always show up when life is not going well. thanks so much for your kind words, lots of love to you 💜

my surgery did go well and I’m so grateful I had no complications. Recovery was certainly very rough the first month but I’m 10 wks post op today and feeling much stronger. ☀️

I wanted to start painting daily but I always procrastinate because of my impostor syndrome. After watching your video, I really want to do it daily in order to get a speedy improvement. Thanks for your video and motivation. I gonna make it my 2024 goal.

Yes!! Just tell yourself you only have to paint 30 min per day - or something very achievable. I know you can do it!!🌟

Have you ever tried Water Mixable Oil Paint ?, i am going to try them as i want to paint with a safer way.

Yes I like them! They are a really cool option however they don’t have the same exact richness as regular oil paints. As long as you don’t use too much water (paint can get tacky) they work well though, good luck! 🙂🙂
