Channie actually left Australia at 13, international age in 2011. 15 was his Korean age.
At the age of 13, he left everything behind, including parents and siblings, to live in a dormatory for long-distance trainees. He was often there alone, as his roomies either debuted before him or simply went home. All of which played on his mental health.

Seungmin is not just a fan, he has been playing baseball professionally since childhood but was unable to continue due to injury, and his grandfather is also a fairly famous baseball player in South Korea. Of the recent events,
there is also no mention of Seungmin's modeling career or his collaborations with such fashion brands as Loewe and Harry Winston. And this year Seungmin started hosting his own show
on the official STRAY KIDS channel called "SONG BY" where he talks about his thoughts on music and sings the chosen song.

STRAYKIDS OT8 FOREVER. THEY ARE ALL MULTITALENTED AND VERY GIFTED. Most fans has biases. for me its ot8 but when it comes to ultimate ITS HAN FOR ME. His talents are impeccable, the skills to write emotions and wounds on notes, to sing differently every song, whether a deep or high voice whether a high note or a low note. Not to mention his fast and immaculate rapping. He can go agressive, sweet, calm, peacefull, loving and desperate and it never sounds the same. He plays with beats and tracks. His raps are always suprising you and he always does something non basic adding his own flavour always. Then you have him practicing dance, guitar, piano. And when he doesnt do all that.. he writes, records, samples and make his own songs as well as songs for potential ot8 music. And the fact that he doesnt act like he is any different; he is just goofy, crazy, and funny but adorable and sweet too. Unapologetic and Fabolous HAN. also He is a stunner. He reminds me alot of anime characters. gorgeous

- Bts doesnt have as much hands on their songs as stray kids does. You can look up the songwriting for each song on the internet. Like bts may be writing lyrics but the composing and production is usually by someone else. And in general is rare for groups or solo artists to self produce, compose and wriite their own lyrics.
- 3racha is a wordplay on the hot sauce siracha + them 3, its like saying that they produce hot new stuff, the fandom then just used the racha for the rest
- the aliases were used by them before stray kids was even formed

Yeah from BTS I think Yoongi has most hands in the production. But Skz has more input overall in their discography. Although BTS has a LOT for a kpop group aswell :D

@@EmmieUniverseyeah, BTS most definitely has an above average input on their music, especially lyrically. skz is just pretty much a complete anomaly in the industry, very few groups or artists have that much creative control/skill and none I can think of from any large companies.
As far as group ability to be self produced, it depends the agency.
I looked up blackpink and while they can have some say in the songs they are not fully allowed to write their song. The producing team does it.
I believe SEVENTEEN, BIG BANG, and (G)I-dle are self produced.
Stray Kids are special because of the amount of freedom they're given by jyp. Of course, jyp still has the power to say yes or no or tell them tweak this or that, but overall stray kids are able to a LOT 😊 3 Racha is force to be reckoned with❤

@@GingerT4U2 I don’t know anything about this either! Being a fan these days is so complicated! In my youth, we used to just find music we liked on the radio and then bought and listened to the album, without having to find out everything about everyone involved in the song’s production first. 🤷♀️

On one part of this vid you said that it looks like a lot of them on screen that is because although stray kids is an 8 member group there used to be a 9th member he left in 2019 so if you look at the early stuff (every thing before the lavanter album) you will see him

I notice that the video is two hours long and think there's no way I'm watching this, no but I watch the whole thing 🥹💞 stray kids is made up of 8 amazing people, their talent speaks for itself, there are times when you can feel overwhelmed with so much information, but little by little you learn, and each song has a message.
I can't wait to go down this path of Stray Kids discovery. I'm love watching their videos
I would definitely advise watching the Lee Mujin Service episodes in chronological order - Seungmin, Han, I.N and then most recently Lee Know.
Also… predebut and debut songs - Hellevator and District 9. From predebut to Levanter, they have 9 members, but we don’t get into the ninth member. He left for personal reasons and Skz is 8

yes definitely Leeknow and Seungmin menace to society. They're so same but they don't understand each other's weirdness and craziness which even straykids members said themselves. They even have name it's 2min, divorced couple, gagwanz because they have idgaf personality they have divorced couples concept they do their things their own way so they bicker a lot that's why fandom gave these nicknames. But ofc that's just concept at first many people think they hate eo because of their concept but if you know them more you'll know they're obsessed with eo kkk. It's actually not very common to be self produced, there are a number of groups who are, but most are not! Stray kids is pretty special because they probably have the most freedom over their music in the entire industry, though BTS also has a lot of freedom in it.
I was wondering if it's a common thing but I realized it's not as I was told by another person that TXT doesn't have that freedom so that's quite interesting. Thank you for being here
@@GingerT4U2 yeah they're idols, they have so much going on already with touring, choreo, fans, reality shows, modelling.. a lot of western artists also don't produce their own music, so it's not very surprising. They often have producing teams. I personally prefer it when a group or artist makes their own music but imagine the pressure to do everything they have to do and also make their own music themselves, it costs so much time. It's why I like stray kids though, they have such an unique sound and they do it all themselves. I got into kpop through bts last year just like you!
@@EmmieUniverse I actually think it's better if you do write your own music as then you not pressured to put things out that you don't agree with. At least now you are passionate about the song and words you are singing

Most Kpop groups are not self produced or even write their own music with the exception of a few such as Bts, Seventeen, Gidle etc some may help write lyrics but they have huge inhouse help from their company and have a lot of co writers and producers on each song. But what sets Stray Kids apart is they are only group in kpop that is 100% self produced. 3racha the producing unit write 100% of their own lyrics and produce all of their work with obvious collaborations with one or two producers such as Versachoi. One song was produced by JYP and Skz wrote the lyrics or their song Easy was co produced by Henry Oyekanmi with Skz. All the members of Stray Kids take part in writing the lyrics and even Hyunjin has started producing.
Also you were confused about aliases. Most rappers have rap names lol E.g Eminem 's real name is Marshall lol So J.One is Han, SpearB is Changbin and CB97 is Bangchans rap names.

Mental health is extremely important to Chan (Han as well since he deals with social anxiety) When Chan was trainee everyone he met and made friends with either debuted without him or left the company. At one point he was alone in the dorms for several months. This was his darkest time. He has talked about it many times before how the kids saved his life. How he "probably wouldn't still be here on Earth" if it wasn't for them coming into his life. He still talks about how they saved him to this day and how he feels he needs to do more for them to pay them back.
The song you liked that he was working on is called STOP. There's no music video but you can watch a lyric video.
3Racha actually has their own TH-cam channel you can look up with all their music from before Stray Kids on it. Some of my pre Skz favs are

Skz has a predebut mini album called Mixtape. One of their most songs Hellevator is on there. They are all songs they did for the survival show.
When they say the members were competing, they mean they were competing to debut together, not really with each other. JYP basically used the show to give them approval to debut.

49:16 i have 3 kids, and i got them into Stray Kids last year. They love the skzoo characters. 2 of my kids love more than one, and i was like, if you HAD to pick one, which one would it be? My son said, "Chris(🐺)" My daughter still couldn't choose between hyunjin and Felix, so i picked for her😁 🐥 My youngest daughter said, "Which one is baby bread again?"😅 🦊

Chan's CB97 = Chris Bang born in 1997
Changbin's SpearB = spear which is chang in Korean + B for Binnie
Han's J.one = J for his real name Jisung + the number 1 (which is han in Korean)

When people say that Chan creates 99% of their beats they are just pulling a number out of their ass. 😂 Don’t get me wrong, he does a lot and I think they have a lot of creative freedom, but they use samples and beats created by other people. Just yesterday I saw an interview with Mike Daley, the man that created the beat for Easy. 3Racha went to one of his song camps.
1:34:20 Don’t understand why the guide points out that songs are written by Han at this point. All of 3Racha are credited on Domino.
And Han is not almost fluent in English. Far from it. Seungmin is not either and he is far better than the other members, not counting the aussies of course.
