Though I am not a drummer, but I played in bands as a far below average bassguitarist and had (classical) church organ/keboardtraining, I got obsessed with the bassdrum, so I can sync a bit with it while trying to figure out which string to tap/slap/pick on my bass. Drum part of Through the Fire and Flames looks like me like technically doable, for a few seconds... you need stamina, that is what I guess. I am not a drummer, I cannot hold ruthm, I practice bass with a "tick-tock"' thingie (don't know the name in English, in Dutch it is called a metronome) and my feet are not trained for drumming. @@autohmae this is a standard method for driving a full manual car on a racetrack/drifting/rallying. with sequential transmissions nowadays its not a technique needed anymore, more focusing on left foot braking to keep the transmission/driveline loaded as much as possible.
