Call for SANDF to help fight crime in EC

Deputy Defence Minister Bantu Holomisa says the emergence of the
rampant crime in the Eastern Cape is one of the reasons he wrote to
former Police Minister Bheki Cele asking for urgent intervention.
Holomisa says the police can ask for the defence's assistance through
the president to help fight the scourge.
