I am a fan of First Wang, she is the 3rd runner-up Miss Grand Thailand 2014. Miss Intercontinental 2014 Top 5 Miss Universe Thailand 2019 I'm very sad that this contest she didn't make it to the top 5. In spite of her performance, she should have qualified for the Top5.
The fact that she was literally the commander in the opening # etc she was literally "leading" the whole group of girls to "where they needed to be" she gave me vibes off what Lu Sierra would be if she was on stage with the girls lol.
I feel like they put Opal in top 5 just cuz of her beauty, I dont get why not First Wang WITH THAT DRESS, FACE AND POSE. Opal was great, but First Wang better in my opinion
not exactly but you can tell who is the standout of the crowd. and thats there is essential. you take the standout, polish her well, support her, make her her best she can be and sent her to internationals. it can go 2 ways, the girl doesnt want to achieve her full potential because shes not “flexible” and is stuck in her ways. or, she can make at least top 5 and potentially top 3 and even the crown at Miss Universe. Nationals have to crown a Miss Universe that unites all the qualities of a decent human being. I think An is that woman, so i’m fine. but the ones on top 5 did the same thing as First Wang and made top 5, they left her out either because she wasn’t talking right at the portions that allowed her to. that’s the only way because that woman is a super star let me tell you.

I’m 💯 sure she is. During the final look I was mad but when the camera zoomed at her face she was angelically stunning. I was just mad because I didn’t get my FirstWang 😞
The reason why First Wang didn't qualify was because of a small mistake. She usually walks well but that day she was a little worse than she should have been. The final opal is very beautiful and elegant. The referee spoke after the judging was over. First of all, Frist Wang couldn't answer the questions of the top 30 finalists because someone asked to withdraw, so First Wang entered the top 30. I think Opal really fits the position.
Opal was weak compared to the top 4 against her and vs First Wang, IN MY OPINION, that was the reason Opal made it then. Because First Wang swallowed the whole competition. She was like the Zuleyka Rivera of MUT. If she has comm weaknesses then that explains Opal getting so far because in my opinion she wasn’t very strong on stage. Very very beautiful but I expect more.

At the end of the day. They wanted Anna as the new MUT. And they would’ve crowned even First Wang before they crowned Opal, or any other in the top 4 before Opal. Let’s be realistic here. But I see what you mean. I’m not saying Opal is incapable but only if the other girls in top 5 and First Wang weren’t competing then maybe Opal would be a “good” card as MUT for Miss Universe.

Disappointed first wang didn’t get the crown too. I think she retired from pageant after this year. A downfall for her is public speaking and she have been in the industry for over 5 years and did place top 5 in MUT one year if I recall correctly
Through the opening and swimsuit I didn’t see her making a top 3 never mind a 1st placement tbh. But that’s because I just saw the final night and didn’t follow the competition before even prelims. But VALIDATED herself on evening gown to assure that she was indeed COMPETING and/or COMPETITION against the stronger girls. I never saw Opal coming this far either tbh. I loved MUT 😍😍😍
I’m kind of over it too. But it isn’t wrong to look up to Catriona she slayed her night and prepared to win. So contestants do look up to her including woman here in the Americas, a lot of them say Catriona will be one of their favorite Miss Universe and I think there is absolutely nothing wrong with that. But I do understand you. Definitely the Catriona effect/spirit is here to stay like the flu 🥹
