I’m happy your reaction is exactly how I reacted. Outing someone without their consent to their parents/family is so not cool. I’m more disappointed at sun then ongsa in this ep. That’s just so out of character. This ep is just not it.
I feel exactly the same way and it really irks me that Ongsa has to be the one to fight for Sun in the next episode. This episode really disappointed me overall.
At least sun is not a flawless character anymore😭
Worst thing is that ognsa is the only one that's gonna apologize as if outing someone to their parents is not some of the most dangerous things you can do to any queer teen, I know she's a teenager but still someone needs to give her a reality check ab what she did

Their teens moving fast... Not surprised, but once Sun toke her to dinner to meet her parents Ongsa needed to be vocal her parental situation. Not alright to out someone but but I can see why Sun would be hurt by the situation.... Communication is Key
Agree, atleast Ongsa talk about it with sun after having dinner with sun's parents. We cant judge Sun as well because she was raised in a vocal and loving family so keeping secrets to a parents is not her thing.
I agree with you that it's our story to tell and no one should outed us other than ourselves but I understand Sun as well .. she might became insecure that Ongsa advises her to pursue the exchange program. I know its not a good reason to out someone but as we all know Sun is like a possessive person and we can say that she's also privilege and maybe its the first time that she feels insecure about her relationship so she did some insensitive decision. They communicate really well so even though they have their difference, they will make it through.

I 100% agree with your opinion actually. I hated when sun outed ongsa. AylinLuna she definitely didn’t mean to say about but when it came to her and ongsa she meant that. It felt so out of character for her since a few episodes back she said she was fine with not telling anyone and just being supportive of ongsa’s choice when it came to that. But this was the first time sun met the parents when they’re together. She didn’t know if they’d except ongsa or not she was definitely just annoyed about the previous conversations and her insecurities about their relationship made her like that. I think it’s the only explanation, she must’ve just been pushed over the edge because of the convo outside since she’s never been like that before. I think they were trying to show sun isn’t perfect maybe as well but this was a terrible way to show that.
It could’ve also been your point about her being privileged though. I just feel like the writers really messed up on that one though.
On other news I love the friends so much, I love how supportive they are with aylin. I’m sad AylinLuna didn’t have their own scene but hopefully we’ll get things next week. I love them. Tinh and Cheoran weren’t in the room with aylin brought everyone to talk to them so I wonder why that was chosen. Like I understand sun’s friends not being there but technically Aylin’s first friends would’ve been Luna, then Tinh and Cheoran so I don’t get that.
Ton is such a good guy and so is mawin. I kind of wish the storylines for Ton Cheoran and Mawin Tinh weren’t a thing because I like seeing ton and Mawin’s friendship alot more. Like at first I loved the idea of mawin and Tinh but they’ve done nothing with them at all so I just think their scenes were a waste of time.
I've been saying this since the episode came out, Sun is completely out of character in this last part: she's possessive, jealous and has her flaws but she always respected Ongsa's time. Always. In episode 8 she even told her directly that if she wasn't ready to tell people it would have been fine, so I'm blaming the writing choice her completely messed up Sun's character for me. They wanted to create drama I get it but they should have respected her character, it's so frustrating! Besides that people are mad at Ongsa for not telling her parents.. fair. Have you seen her character growth though?? like hello? She literally wants nothing best for her and pushing her to go to the freaking US because it will make her happy! FYI I think they've been dating for a long more than 3 days (Ongsa's parents were out for a week last ep and they were already together) it's just the timeline is a bit confused since the storyline it's a bit rushed (blaming the 12 episodes format here). Anyways thanks for expressing my frustration, I literally reacted the same when I saw the last part, still can believe people are defending this writing choice.. no matter the situation outing somebody else in their place is something that you should never do, ever.

I agree to that... No one should do that to their gf/bf. Let them take their time to come out. Because it's not really easy to come out to your family. Though eventually our family will accept it but it takes really a long time... Once again the high pitch you have 🤭

Thai is a language that is very difficult to translate into English. If you understand Thai, you will have fun watching the series. Thai people talk to older people and use specific vocabulary. When talking to monks, they have specific vocabulary. When talking to the king, there is a specific vocabulary. When talking with friends, there is a specific vocabulary. When talking with people who are not close to each other, there is a specific vocabulary. When talking with parents, there is a specific vocabulary. A simple example: Thai children don't use "i" and "u" but instead use words that say they are cute little children and call everyone "elder and younger" and can refer to parents and people they don't know.

Especially children and women They are taught to live by the rules and regulations of civilization and the ancient code of conduct for Thai women, which must be obedient and gentle and neat. Therefore, Thai people view daughters as the prestige of the family. And I like to think that my child is always a little child who must not be separated from the family. Even if you have a husband or have children. They are still children to their parents. This is the reason why Thai people have dowries for women and daughters to take care of and give money to their parents.

Sun said he wanted to meet Ongsa's parents. If Ongsa had met and eaten with Sun's parents and told them I hadn't been able to tell them, there wouldn't have been this conflict in the first place. It's an ongiveness to always run away and not have a proper conversation despite having multiple opportunities.

I think sun must ask alpha first if theur parents are homophobic or not... Maybe she's used to it because in her side she's too open to talk about everything within her family.

This episode...the outing, not cool, BUT I'd also feel very shitty if my gf was to say she wasn't dating no one, I'd talk to her about it in private tho, not out her like that...well, being me, I'd not date someone in the closet..ah but these are kids, age wise, so it's a bit tricky. I did come out at age 14 though, but I know it's different for everyone.
