Well in the real world (outside of canon), Predator and Aliens actually served as inspiration for the DooM games, so it’s likely that canonically the reverse is true (the Doom Slayer copied the Predator). If only the upgrades didn’t mean half of all his ammo reserves went bye-bye…
I've actually seen "Prey" a few days ago. Not the best movie, but not that bad either. It was a good reminder to the awesomeness of the Yautja predators, even from ancient times.

There is a problem predator usually Mark themselves after killing any prey they hunt especially if there yong blood in that case they hunt in a group of 3
